Monster Mini Final Update - 84 Monsters slain - very impressive

Inspired by Muses Mini

We are now into the next mini 'Inspired by Muses'. This is less rush for this mini, like the first one in May. We have a fixed number of books (166) to read for it.

Our strategy now should be to maximize on the page points.

While different teams have different strategies for logging books, we are currently in 2nd.

9 of 9 sneks defeated so good job everyone. I used every book but 6 of them for some task. However, we are at 109% and can't go over 110% so I'll try to read bigger books myself, but we could use bigger books for the last month.

Last call for monster books - 3 min and counting

No worries. I usually can’t read at work but have things to catch up from my trip

I found an audio that I can do in time and have declared today snail tank cleaning day so I can listen at work. (Thankfully, snail tanks need cleaning so not a lie).

No worries if we don't but we have everything covered but Read a book between 500 and 650 pages (inclusive) for Argus if anyone has one they can finish in the next 5 hours

Argus has been seen on your lands with a case of the dry-eyes. Very hard to kill but can be distracted with white cows. He is vigilant and a great bodyguard as he doesn't need to sleep by only resting a few eyes at a time. Enjoys a good olive, may look for him taking a respite in an olive tree grove.

To vanquish this monster you must:
1.) Read a book between 500 and 650 pages (inclusive).
2.) Read a book with at least 2 pairs of eyes visible on cover.
3.) Read a book with a rock on the cover.
4.) Read a book with character works in protective profession (e.g., police, security guard, bodyguard).
5.) Read a book with "olive" found in text.

That's me and working on yet another snek (#8 so hopefully will get a new one next)

Truitt, no worries. We can use it as page points either way. Hope it is at least a good book.

For everyone, I'll be on from 3-4 to check everything in (unless something drastic happens at work).

Yes but sadly we got another kraken. Since we already have two going, I would wait and see if we get a better one when I finish my werewolf book this evening.

I like writing the stories and I can work with most titles and am also open to help. I don't think we need to plan too much for that one.

Kraken



The Kraken has been seen in the sea depths near you land, destroying ships on a whim. If defeated, you will always wonder how you managed to survive. May be searching for Andromeda or Pegasus, he's a bit bitter they got away.

To vanquish this monster you must:
1.) Read a book 800 pages or longer.
2.) Read a book with a ship on the cover (spaceship allowed because Mods can be benevolent too).
3.) Read a book where the Author name (first or last) starts and ends with the same letter (e.g., Andromeda)
4.) Read a book where a character goes swimming
5.) Read a book that has an 8 in the series number (e.g., #8, #18, #0.8)
