3113 If it was that easy to make weird boogly things that take over the world I think random chance might have produced some of them by now anyway.

like George Bush? I'm fairly certain he was created in a garage somewhere with test tubes involved.
3113 HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!

So... there's a new show coming on MTV which looks like it's going to suck ass... but it has sparked a musing in my mind about my favorite bromances. I used to hang out with groups of guys, so maybe bromances make me more than usually happy. But I think they are 1) hot and 2) entertaining. Here are my favorite bromances in film:

Butch and Sundance (and Paul Newman & Robert Redford)
Patrick Swayze & Keanu Reeves (in Point Break)
Men in Black (Tommy Lee Jones & Will Smith)
Knocked Up (gang of bros)
Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin
Top Gun (Iceman & Mavrick, Mavrick & Goose)
High Fidelity (John Cusack & Jack Black and the little geeky guy)
Highlander (Sean Connery and that Tarzan guy)
Animal House

All skate. Tell me yours....

Uhm... I really don't think I want "hobbyists" doing gene splicing in their garages. Isn't that pretty much how The Blob wound up eating Detroit?

Not that I would necessarily miss Detroit. But... you know.... it's a sliding slope. With a toboggan. Straight to hell, and zombies, and gelatinous cubes.

3113 how did you know? : )
3113 ah humans.... ultimately we're a tacky, psychotic lot.
3113 ha ha ha... yeah... I'll probably leave mine on until February. But I just put them up with a staple gun so they are easy to pull down just by pulling on them. I just have to be careful not to staple through the electrical wire. Don't wanna burn the house down. : )

3113 Debbie was indeed right. All I remember about the word is that my husband used it during our divorce trial. "I've been cuckolded!" (which he hadn't). I thought to myself... what year does he think this is?
3113 I always feel compelled to set those things on fire. Luckily no one in my neighborhood is tacky enough to put them up.

The woman across the street is like Martha Stewart. She decorates early for every holiday and always has really nice decorations. I can feel my competitive gene coming out when I look across the street. "Dammit, she decorated before me! That bitch!" Wow... we're all so crazy, aren't we?
