"
Yer
forest?" He looked around for any signs proclaiming ownership. "I see nothing declaring this
yer
forest."
"Aye, yes, that too...," he said, clearly becoming annoyed at having to answer questions about Willy's business.
Since this is a free book thread, I'm going to share a free book story with you....My mom had been having some issues with her Kindle and so I'd been logged into her account checking settings, looking for books she says she bought but aren't showing up on her kindle... stuff like that... anyway, there was a free Ronald Reagan book that I was sure she'd love, so I decided to download for her, and a couple others, too. It was free so it wasn't going to cost her anything... I thought it'd be a nice surprise.
Then the other day I was going through the free ebook links in another group and I clicked on one link called Dominate Me: Sex Slave2....
I read the description, thought, 'what the hell... it's free,' and clicked on the Buy With 1 Click button and then about shat myself because, yes, I was still logged into my mom's account.
"Aye...emptyin' the bucket, clearin' the hose, waterin' the daisies..." He cleared his throat and asked, "Why?"
Calum stepped out from behind the bush he was hiding in and unsure of how to explain his presense there, and even more unsure of why he needed to, said, "I was... errr.... just... takin' care o' business, is all, " as he adjusted his breeches.
LOL!!! You know, you can't have too many laughs or smile enough!! And yes, Goodreads threads are always good for both.
The chicken breasts we used were huge, so if you use smaller ones... say an "A" or "B cup" breast, maybe cut the cooking down by 5 minutes during each baking.
Chicken Parmesan BakeIngredients
4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 T Olive Oil
2 Cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon or so of chili pepper flakes (optional)
2 Cups spaghetti sauce
¼ C chopped, fresh basil
8 ounces shredded mozzarella
4 ounces shredded Parmesan
1 - 5 ounce package of garlic or Italian croutons
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
In a 9x13 dish put olive oil and garlic in the bottom and spread around evenly. Sprinkle with chili pepper flakes. Layer chicken breasts and then top with 2 Cups of spaghetti sauce.
Bake for 30 minutes.
After cooking the chicken for 30 minutes remove from oven and top with the basil and ½ of the cheese - 4 ounces of mozzarella and 2 ounces of Parmesan. Then evenly layer a 5 ounce package of croutons and then top with remaining cheese and bake another 20-30 minutes.
The sun rose high in the sky, taking the chill from the air. As he walked, he couldn't help thinking about the old woman he left behind, or the fact that he felt eyes upon him.
Calum whistled as he de-tailed and scaled his dinner, and after finding some wild garlic, thyme and rare Worcestershire tree leaves, seasoned the plump fishy and cooked it slowly over an open fire.
