I had huge problems with 1st person and never read them, then I bought a Kristen Ashley book, not knowing it was 1st person, and immediately fell into the story and had no problems.

I think the reason I can read her 1st person is because she writes the way people think and talk, so it feels natural, whereas some authors are too polished and perfected... no one really talks that way!

Anyway, she's one of the few authors who can pull off 1st person.
