29443 I wish Judith Ivory was still writing. :( She's fantastic.

29443 Yeah, she is a wordy author. I just read Christine Feehan when I'm in the mood for that kind of writing.

Like romantic suspense?

29443 I do feel that publishers have realized how much erotica is selling, so they are pushing authors to write erotica and add erotica to their typical romance books. I think it's going to backfire.

29443 Thanks, Pamela!

29443 I love music a lot, so I love when authors integrate music into their storylines. I do feel that it can date a book at times. I haven't read a lot of books that referenced real songs lately, but I would definitely look it up if the mood hit me.
29443 We have the BDB on the list, but thanks for posting, Heather!

29443 I marked this thread for spoilers, but I would also ask that posters use spoiler tags when they mention books, please, so no one's book experience is spoiled.

To use spoiler tags:

(spoiler) in front of spoiler material
(/spoiler) behind spoiler material.

Substitute < and > and for ( and ).

Thanks!!!

Glad you find it helpful. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the list!

Which category does this fall into?

29443 I got sucked back into Original Sin with Jolie and Banderas on Saturday. That movie just gets me. There are some disturbing aspects, and it's definitely noir romance, but it's so romantic at the same time. The way he loved her. Geez!!

29443 Good for you, Natalie!
29443 It's hard for me to stop reading a series, because I feel committed to keep going. It has to be where I am really unhappy with the series to give it up.

I don't care much for "wallpaper" overmodern historical romances.

Right you are. Changed it in the challenge.

29443 @Missyb, I like to call it Loki 2, because it's all about Loki for me.

I am starting to think my type is tall, lanky, with prominent cheekbones. And maybe even pale. :)
