29443 Happy New Year!

I posted the 2021 DHASG yearly challenges that I've created so far. If you'd like more, please give me some feedback on the thread for that purpose:

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I would like specifically to know if you want a Mega Challenge this year. We skipped it last year. I like doing them, but if they are getting stale, then I totally respect if people want a break.

Here are the challenges posted so far:

DHASG 2021 Cover Love Challenge

DHASG 2021 Bad*ass Women Annual Challenge

DHASG 2021 Dangerous Hero Addict Support Group Yearly Challenge

Also, I posted an end of the year discussion here:

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

And here's the 2021 Reading thread:

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

2020 was a very challenging, quite frankly, awful year. I hope everyone is doing as well as possible. Thanks for hanging in there, and I hope I can keep the group more active this year!

29443 This is our 2021 Reading discussion thread. Feel free to talk about your reading and your thoughts on that here!

29443 This has been a really tough year. I hope that members have had some ability to read the books they wanted to read this year, even if you didn't quite meet your goals, were there any books that stood out to you?

I thought it might be fun to do a quick survey on the books you read this year, if you're interested.

1. What are the top 5-10 books you read this year? (feel free to say why)
2. What new authors did you discover? What did you like about them?
3. Any book binges this year?
4. Any new genres that you discovered?
5. Did your reading surprise you or go in different directions? How so?
6. Who were your favorite characters that you read this year and why?
7. Did you reread any old favorites? What are your thoughts on those?
8. What was the best scene in a book you read this year?
9. Did you decide anything about your reading habits that you want to carry into the new year?

Feel free to add to the questionnaire!

29443 So, my life and time is pretty restricted right now. I have one more semester left of school, and hopefully, I will have more free time after that. I don't know if I can do a monthly challenge anymore. If any other members want to volunteer to host monthly challenges, we could definitely use your help. Otherwise, I may have to switch to quarterly challenges.

29443 Any thoughts on the 2021 yearly challenges?

Which ones do you like? Which ones are you bored with? Suggestions on changing the challenges? I'll be working on this over the next few days. Thanks!

29443 Good installment, Arch. I loved that the roller skating rink is called Get Your Roll On. I so miss going to the roller rink. It's so cute how Sanjar and Cop talk on the phone. I also liked seeing Sanjar with her friend James.

29443 I'm rereading the Cal Leandros series an Audiobook. This is a great series if you like the sibling dynamic. It's a pair of brothers looking out for each other.

29443 I love books about a series of brothers and sisters or combination of both. Can you recommend any series that has a book for each sibling? Tell us a little about the series.
