I just started it today, and if I post stuff in here, I don't want to come in and find out the ending of the book before we get there...

It's a good idea to just post in here if you've already finished the book... (Katie)

or read...

For the first time around, we're going to have 4 categories, but one title has already been chosen. Category 1: Girl book
Category 2: Guy book
Category 3: Adventure book
Category 4: Either guy or girl book (book that either a guy or girl would like to read)
The "girl book" has already been chosen. We're reading Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen. You're all more than welcome to read along.
Rules:
Anybody can nominate from any category.
You may only nominate 2 of the 3 remain categories.
You need to state what category each book falls in, and list the title of the book, and the author. If you don't know them, look them up. (You're on goodreads for crying out loud.)
So, for example I'll start:
I nominate the book Dust of 100 Dogs by A.S. King for cat. 3 (adventure read)
I nominate the book The Maze Runner for cat. 4 (either a guy or a girl)
Nominations have to be in by next Tues. We'll vote on Wednesday.

Liz and I happened across it on date night tonight. I got some great stuff for myself, and maybe the block.
They didn't have Along for the Ride anymore. I would have bought them all if they did...

I ordered my copy and should have it by Tues.

Although, this means you may have less of a choice of what gets picked... We could fine tune all of our policies next week and those of us who have the first guy or girl book could start in on those...
Any thoughts?

Ask me about it tomorrow. I may even give you guys a budge pass to make sure we have enough time for everything.
If this changes I'll let you know tomorrow.

If you want to start a new topic thread in this folder, go ahead. Don't feel obligated to just keep posting on this one.

Also, Catching Fire was slower to get into than The Hunger Games, but I don't think it was as slow for me as Brittney's saying it is.
P.S. I just got a TON of reading done. I'm going to read more right now, but it's getting pretty late.

you know the greatest part about being online? you can google anything you don't know, and it takes like... 20 seconds.
www.google.com then type in define:consolidate
piece of cake.
i love the picture.
lets plan on tuesday lunch. does that sound good to everybody?

We have got to consolidate our message boards.
Maybe I'll work on that tonight before I go to bed.
