yeah. that'd be Haiti. : )
A little too cultured, Jimmy. : )

i haven't heard it. or at least, i haven't realized it if i have.

We could just have a couple of us decide on a class read... but we'd have to find the books or buy them...
Same thing for quick books. The problem with that is we'd have a whole bunch of people tying up a few computers for a small amount of points. I tried doing that with Paul Revere's Ride too, and it didn't really work.

We should come up with something though, because we're not going to have much CAP time to read with On-Track going on...

I'll bring out something tomorrow that I think you'll like.

Well, most of us are done with our partner reads, so what do you want to do next?
Do you want to go back to a group read where we're all reading the same thing, or do you want to do another partner read?
Or do you want to do something else altogether.
See you tomorrow at the head shaving.

yeah. i mean, why not?

I'm loving this weeks free song from iTunes.

I may go to the library and pick up Gilgamesh.
And Kelsey takes the cake:
Gilgamesh - written in Cuneiform - written on clay tablets.

i like the video too. : )
Gilgamesh is mentioned in their, and our old friend Hammurabi who made that great code of laws.
Gilgamesh was actually a poem. What language was it written in? Any guesses? Anybody? What do you think they wrote it on?

i gave myself detention and stayed after school today. ...how about you guys?

Dude, I'm totally ratting you guys out for getting on at school again.

I follow you Jimmy, although I think this thread is getting a little too personal for me. This may indeed be the last time you see me on here. (Just this thread, not goodreads as a whole...)

Wow. That's tomorrow.

ok... i was waiting for you to be shocked, but you didn't post anything up here, so i'll tell you... all lies, no party.
the part about making the rail was true though, so i have to go.

oh MAN! and that's the day we're having the party...

awesome indeed. we're making a rail for my porch. (i haven't had so much time to read because of this.) it feels good to do work where you can see accomplishments. 8am-9pm. long spring break days.

eh... you can do what you want. (although, i like to keep the same pic too drew...)
i like the pic kelsey. (sorry about MSU)

you should set up times when you'll be on here. ... like, "i plan on being bored around 8 PM tomorrow - or something like that..."

I'll take that as a no...
