finished my alan moore-athon, Watchmen: The Deluxe Edition, V for Vendetta and From Hell, and have to say the man is totally aware of the score! 3 different artists illustrate his genius scripts, each of which are (as far as i'm aware) groundbreaking pieces - i'm knocked out! have the thought of watching the corresponding movies in the same order, but i can't imagine they will measure up. remains to be seen.
although based on fact, 'from hell' is a fictitious take on the jack the ripper murders, and tbh, makes perfect sense as regards the culprit and the police procedures. who knows?
