I apologize for not checking my mail more often, and thank you very much indeed for leaving a very kind comment.

Djinni-vera got pregnant the first time she and Tarrant-Arragon made love. She was 6-weeks pregnant at the time of the Royal Wedding, which is why there was no second "rut-rage". References to her developing pregnancy are sprinkled throughout Forced Mate, Insufficient Mating Material, and Knight's Fork.

At least, they were when I signed off on the books. Checking.

Don't be embarrassed. I write my books like onions with layers and nuances. My hope is that if anyone re-reads any of them, they will notice something new that they missed the first time.

I'd started a story with Demetra as the heroine, but I don't want her to end up with either (or both!) of the twins. Guess who might be a potential mate.

Forced Mate was pretty much a spoof. Insufficient Mating Material isn't intended to be.

I didn’t feel that the same joke would work a second time, so when I was asked to write a sequel, I turned to an underdog hero and put him in a Green Acres meets Survivorman (with sex) situation, where he is shot down on an alien tropical island with a spoiled, bad-tempered, fashion conscious Princess who cannot and will not take off her wet court gown to save her life.

FORCED MATE is a chess grand master’s name for the race between the two Kings to be the first to make a pawn into a Queen.

I wrote it as a loving spoof of the Historical Romance genre. I took every traditional situation in an abduction/obligatory-travel romance and made the hero an all-powerful, alpha-male alien.

I write SPACE SNARK™

Officially, my books are called Futuristic Romance, but they are not set in the future, and there's a bit too much irreverent humor for the book to be considered science fiction/romance.


All my titles are sexy chess terms.

They are racy, laugh out loud funny in parts, and set in outer space with high powered alien royalty with splendid sex drives, and some nifty paranormal abilities.

My goal as a Romance author is to give good value --not a fast read. I write to entertain: I expect to provide my readers with six to eight hours of amusement, at least a couple of really good laughs, a romantic frisson or two from the sensual scenes, something to think about, possibly some useful information… And, a Happy Ever After.

I'm not aware that I have any particular processes. I think I'm a puzzler.

However, I am willing to have a shot at answering questions... but, honestly, I'm not a good example.

I cannot imagine that my habits, writing or otherwise could be of great interest to anyone, but if there is something you'd like to know, ask away.

It's that they are skeptical of reviews, and want to read a few chapters of different authors' writings to make a decision what to buy.

If that is the case, we should do more multi-author samplers.
