Vinity & Kristi... I also just bought 3 credits on Nov 4th, as I only had 1. I'm going to follow up with a customer service email too. What harm was there in allowing really consistent customers a way to buy a few credits cheaper? I didn't say that you had received credits even though you had 5. Usually if you take the time to contact them they are accommodating. I hope that I win more credits, that'll show 'em! LOL!!

222868 Vinity... Will they let you have 24 credits? Or, is it just for 3 audible credits?

222868 I will also miss Wicked Scribes. I love her character lists and the release lists.

I noticed that on Nov 28th, 6 different authors are re-releasing their books.

Cynthia Eden – Once Bitten, Twice Burned (Phoenix Fire #2) *re-release
Christine Feehan – Dark Magic (Dark #4) *re-release
Jeaniene Frost – The Brightest Embers (Broken Destiny #3) *new adult re-release
Larissa Ione – Vampire Fight Club (Demonica #6.5) *re-release
Sherrilyn Kenyon – Unleash the Night (Dark-Hunter #9) *hardcover re-release
Lora Leigh – Wake a Sleeping Tiger (The Breeds #31) *re-release

What is going on with this? Also has anyone noticed that some books that you know that you have purchased are not showing up as "you purchased this book on..."? I noticed that some books that I read many years ago are starting to show up again on my "your books" tile page on my kindle. I can't imagine that the updates are enough to warrant a "new" version. Just an observation.

222868 Vinity... Healing to your sister and peace to you. That's a lot of driving around and with the hubby, son, your health, and the farm, you have quite the full plate.

I am listening to the latest Miss Fortune book, Hook, Line and Blinker. Hook, Line and Blinker (Miss Fortune Mystery #10) by Jana Deleon I love this series and the humor is just what I need.

On kindle I am catching up on the Ruby Lionsdrake series with Hierax. Hierax (Star Guardians, #4) by Ruby Lionsdrake
and I will probably continue with Zakota. Zakota (Star Guardians, #5) by Ruby Lionsdrake . Has anyone read the last book in the Star Guardian series, Ariston? Ariston (Star Guardians, #6) by Ruby Lionsdrake

Vinity... I looked into the Romance books and I found the same thing, almost all of my most recent HR reads were there. I could also catch up on the Guild Hunters books that I have yet to read. I have a couple of recent ones but am missing a couple of previous books. Don't you just love a book that you can laugh out loud about? How are you doing anyway? How is your sister?

222868 Vinity... I posted about the Audible Romance deals a few days ago, I did not find any limit and I think that I read most of the info. I got the deal because 1 audio book is $9.50 and for $6.95 that's at least one cheaper book for me. I saw that a couple of Singh's books were on it, Frost, Kenyon, Ione, Neill, so there are all different genre's. I saw a couple of Crusie books, (but not all of them), and a few other current books like Nocturne Falls, Thea Harrison's, Julia Quinn... I thought that it made sense for me.

Waverly... Can you see why I waited for the better part of a year for the audio for the last 2 Miss Fortune books? They just aren't the same without Ida Belle's and Gertie's voices. Those will always be on my Audio must listen book list.

222868 Liz... I just finished the Dragons of Bloodfire series today. Each book is a different couple, but if there is a "common" theme it is the "triad" and who will fill the seats of leadership and power. All of the couples are unique and I thought that they were worth reading. I did have a small feeling that there should have been more books in the series. In the final book, the younger brother has a small part. The couples are all different. I did like the h in the second book, she has a unique and dangerous ability. The books are pretty reasonable in price too.

I started listening to Later Gator. Later Gator (Miss Fortune Mystery #9) by Jana Deleon
I love the voices in the audio version of this series, and I am so glad that they are finally all out. (Well as many as there are published, so far).
On kindle, I finished Star Witch, Star Witch (The Lazy Girl's Guide To Magic #2) by Helen Harper
and started on the third book, Spirit Witch. Spirit Witch (The Lazy Girl's Guide To Magic #3) by Helen Harper
These books have some laugh out loud moments too.

222868 Liz... I haven't read that series, but if you have read the Nocturne Falls books, or the Miss Fortune books, the series is like that. These are "light" PNR. They are sometimes funny, sometimes absurd, but likeable with a HEA at the end of each. All 4 books occur around the same time period, but there aren't many overlaps in any of the stories, just some overlapping characters and places. I believe that I read that all four are available for one price now that they are all out. The first book is Dead Man Talking.

222868 Yay! Ian and Veritas!! I think that is a good match, or at least it will be interesting. They are both pretty strong characters.

So I finished Witchful Thinking. Witchful Thinking (The Happily Everlasting Series, #4) by Kristen Painter

I thought that the whole series was cute, light, and kind of like the Miss Fortune series and the Nocturne Falls series combined. (These are also 2 of the 4 authors in the 4 book series). I would definitely read more in this series if they decide to write others.

In a futile attempt to over come my mountainous TBR pile, I am reading Star Witch.
Star Witch (The Lazy Girl's Guide To Magic #2) by Helen Harper

I need to clear out a ton of books. I know, not unlike most of us here. :-}

222868 To expand on what KSM announced. Audible has offered a $6.95/month, (for KU), "romance" category. It was announced today. You have your pick of all kinds of genre's- vampire, ball players, millionaires, etc. You can pick from Categories, Characters, Stories, and Steaminess. You can also ask it to take you to the "good parts" of this book, and there is a steamy rating from sweet to O-O-OMG. The first month is free, it sounds like fun, and I signed up. Also, looking over the books offered, some of the most recent books that I have read are there.

222868 As a rule, during any given year I purchase a couple of cookbooks, read some sci-fi, and some humorous books. This years' book of the year picks have 0 books that I am familiar with in those genres. Wow, that's the first time that has ever happened. I wonder who actually picked these books. Are they rated by their popularity or by their publisher? The real killer is that I don't even recognize a lot of the books in those categories.

222868 Sharon... I was just going to post about The Dragon King.
The Dragon King (The Kings, #12) by Heather Killough-Walden

It came out last week and it just showed up on my Amazon page today. Did you read The Nightmare King?
The Nightmare King (The Kings, #11) by Heather Killough-Walden
I found it really hard to get through for some reason.

222868 I forgot to mention but the Jana DeLeon books Later Gator
Later Gator (Miss Fortune Mystery #9) by Jana Deleon
and Hook, Line and Blinker
Hook, Line and Blinker (Miss Fortune Mystery #10) by Jana Deleon are released on audio today. I have been waiting a long time for Later Gator, and I am happy that I will finally be able to listen to these. I've said this before but Hook, Line and Blinker is cheaper if you get the kindle version and add the audio to it.

That said, I am actually listening to the third book of the Dragon's of Bloodfire, Seduced by Fire.

222868 Liz... Those are the only buttons to use, but you can remove the whole book from your list. Would that help? Use the X at the far right to remove the book from My Books.

I got the last book in the Everlasting, ME series, Witchful Thinking.
Witchful Thinking (The Happily Everlasting Series, #4) by Kristen Painter

Doug... I wonder if I should hold off on the 12th Charley Davidson book. Is the cliff hanger big, or just merely aggravating like previous ones? I'll wait to see what you folks here think. I listen to those so I can DL it anytime.

222868 I finished The Courtesan Duchess.
The Courtesan Duchess (Wicked Deceptions, #1) by Joanna Shupe
I liked it but I thought that the "disagreement" went a bit too long for my taste. The bad guys were easily identified from the beginning. I liked both of the main characters and the friends and family. The additional relationship was a fresh little surprise. I would give this about 4*'s.

I also finished Gray Wolf Mate which is a new series by Dianna Love.
Gray Wolf Mate (League Of Gallize Shifters, #1) by Dianna Love
This series is a loosely linked series, but all of the books can be read as stand alone books. In this book, the mates are previous lovers who separated because he suddenly came into his wolf, and had no control. These "Gallize" shifters are gifted with something extra. They are all different species and are all apex predators. These are a mixture of a black ops unit and a secret shifter organization. In order to become mates to these men the females must also be "Gallize", which means that they must have at least 2 characteristics of a list of possibilities or they won't survive the actual mating. The mating is a power exchange not a sexual act. In this series, the men must mate before 10 years after their first shift, which usually occurs around 21 years old or they will start to deteriorate. I give this first book 3.5-4.0*'s. It is a good start and I like the ongoing investigation that runs in the background.
As I am waiting on a couple of books that come out tomorrow, I am reading Sagitta. Sagitta (Star Guardians, #3) by Ruby Lionsdrake

222868 HJ... Thanks for the Outlander info. I have been saying the same as Vinity about the possibility of finishing 'Voyager" in this season. The timeline is greatly reduced, but probably just as effective in telling the Claire and Jaime story. I didn't even know that web site existed. I bookmarked that one, because my curiosity gets the best of me sometimes. LOL!

222868 I have been watching "The Time In Between" which is a Spanish series with English subtitles on Netflix. This is a wonderful series and the only detriment is that the subtitles are in white and are often covered up with the actor and production titles, and the background of the scenes themselves. Set in the late 30's and early 40's in Spain, Morocco, and a bit of Portugal, it is a beautifully filmed series. The MC, Siri, a seamstress, leaves Madrid for Morocco with a low-life boyfriend who spends all of her money, steals her inheritance and leaves her in great debt. Franco's war has broken out in Spain, and with no money, she cannot go home to Spain. She evolves into a talented modern "modiste" who caters to the emerging German population. This series is full of intrigue.

On the reading front, I am almost done with Gray Wolf Mate
Gray Wolf Mate (League Of Gallize Shifters, #1) by Dianna Love . This is a darker series and has good bones.

222868 Doug... Have you found that instead of digital credits that Amazon is is giving pantry credits? I don't use the pantry option, (there are only 2 of us). I wish that the digital credits were back. That's a nice thing to do for your wife. You made her happy, and think about it, she probably had the original tape for a really long time, money well spent. :-}

222868 HappyBookWorm... I am so glad that you posted this. I knew that Sterling's book was coming out soon, but I didn't know that it just came out. Thanks for the info. I can't wait to read Hunter's story and catch up with Tess and Thomas too.
