I picked
A Deceptive Clarity by
Aaron Elkins off the shelf at my local used book store and discovered it was priced like normal, but was signed by the author too!

There is a place in reviews where you can enter the number of times you have read a title, but if you change the date you read that title it will affect your Reading Challenge stats and will not show any more the very first date you read that title.

Share your October treats here. What books did you get this month?

The Songbirds Seduction by Connie Brockway. Thank you Goodreads and Brilliance Publishing, Inc."Congrats, Ilean. You've had a good month for Giveaway wins, three in one month, wow. I was in shock when I actually won two this month.

A Goodreads giveaway win arrived today:

A few more for me:
from Thriftbooks and
off the library's used book shelf.

The way I manage to collect all the series I want is I make the compromise that if I discover a series that has been going on for a while I go back and buy used copies of the titles that have already come out, then I budget to buy the next in the series new as they come out. Another way I saved money collecting series is I would check out books from the library so I could read the series as it came out, but I would wait until the books were published in paperback before I bought it.

For the longest time I didn't bother entering and then I just started up again a couple of months ago and won two books books this last August and just got notice I won another one today! I'm in utter shock, but thrilled.

I fear I will never get through my TBR stack for even as quickly as I do read, new titles come to my attention to be added to the list! At least I will never be without something to read, that's for sure.

Thank you all. Got a question for you. Think I should raise my challenge number or just keep adding to it to see how far past it I end up by the end of the year?

Done! Finished book #250 tonight! :-)
