I will start it next Friday. I am guessing it will likely count for one of the tasks in the next round, even if we don't know what they are until tomorrow!!

21857 We always signed up for new developments in TV pretty quickly. Dad claimed it was work related so he had to have MNet and then DSTV a soon as possible.

The interesting side note is that while I have a TV it is not connected to any aerial or dish at all. I watch from DVD or hard drive only!

21857 My parents moved to SA because of TV. Dad worked for BBC and came to SA to help start TV. He actually pushed the button that turned TV on in Port Elizabeth before moving to Joburg where most of the production work happened. He worked for SABC for many years in various different areas, including being involved with filming sports and live shows at times.
21857 Finished Task 3

Little Red Cap & Scarlet - Wolf follows her to Grandma's place (Book based on story so lots of connections)

21857 That is quite a commute. I get annoyed when it takes longer than 20 minutes to get to work...

21857 That was my nomination and the task is listed on the nomination thread as:

24. Read a book that features one of your favourite species of animal. (It has to be a species that is accepted as real by science, nothing that is considered mythical!) - Needs to play a big part.

I'm convinced that dragons exist, but science had not yet found compelling evidence to agree with me, unfortunately!

21857 Oh, I think I will need to run the commentary some time too. I own the DVD and saw it on my shelf, which made me think of our Grimm challenge and I thought it would be fun to watch again.

21857 Interesting trivia, but I did find the actual movie quite boring...

21857 Yeah, I know about the new series and will keep an eye out for it. Thanks for letting me know anyway.

Waiting for authors to write books can be so frustrating...

21857 I am really enjoying this series. Passed it on to a friend who is also loving it. Thanks for the challenge, I doubt I would have read them otherwise.
