6. I don’t know if it’s the most important, but it’s very memorable. The scene where Amy plays the piano stuck with me.
24. I feel bad saying that none of the characters were more memorable to me than any other, but I felt like they all played important roles in the overall story. Unless you count to Pegasi. I mean, horses with wings are very memorable.
37. No, seemed reasonable to me.

1. I think I need to read more into the series. I springtime if Bloo Moose sounds as nice as the winter is cold, then count me in.
2. Absolutely. I can totally relate to Clumsy Girl in many ways.
3. I hope this doesn’t sound weird, but I like that the main female character is an orphan and has a physical disability. I don't think that gets written about enough as though once someone turns eighteen, they quit being an orphan or that all romance happens between equally able-bodied individuals. I did pick up on other things like mental illness, mental health, animal abuse, PTSD, and some others.

3. Blended into the scenery and romantic elements of this story are some either socially relevant, controversial, or emotionally sensitive subject matters for readers to explore. What stood out to you?

Thanks for joining the discussion and sharing your thoughts. I too enjoyed the book and look forward to the rest, which I already have.

1. Despite his father’s sudden death, Jonared seems a capable leader, but I haven’t really read enough to know for sure.
2. Medieval-type worlds with swords, magic, and grand creatures always sound good when reading them, but I don’t think I’d be up for an adventure in them.
3. Whenever I read about court life, I chuck it up to world-building, but I’m finding that as I continue to expand my reading that court life is a big thing for some readers.

1. There are better ways to get a promotion, but the king gains the title when his father dies. Does this make him an incompetent king or a well-prepared one?
2. Is Futhark a place you’d like to have an adventure, or is it too dangerous?
3. The beginning of the story describes court life through several characters. Does court life intrigue you or is it simply a necessity for worldbuilding?

1. I was able to read past it, but it was difficult at times. Still, overall, it served a purpose even if I felt it was never really addressed by the characters. I wish it had been.
2. I like the concept of this magic system and feel more will be revealed in the rest of the series. I felt it was a clever twist on some more traditional magical systems I’ve read.
3. I really liked the healing Guardian and really didn’t like the captain. I’d like to say more, but it may give away spoilers.
