How's everyone? It's been a weird 2 weeks here for me. So much shit going on and so many ups and downs. Not supposed to go through that many emotions in such a short time I don't think. :/

Hopefully things will be our version of normal for a while. :)

We're almost done with Hades. Well done on finding the longer titled ones ladies. I know Angie is planning on the Mount Olympus one soon. Jackie, how are you doing with your Hercules book? If you aren't liking it, I have a book that I finished that would fit it. I was gonna go for the Lion next Ashley when I saw you grabbed it.

I was able to get to



before the deadline. I had mixed feelings about the book, though I rated up. For me, I read fiction to escape from reality, not to be thrust back into it. But with this book, it was seeped in what is going on in the country since the election and while I'm on the author's side on her views of it all, I just didn't enjoy reading that in my book. I just wanted mindless killing sprees (it is about serial killers) and wasn't given that this time around. But, the story outside of that was good. I just had super mixed feelings about the rest of it.

It's almost time for Bout of Books 22, and I will be joining in.

I am gonna mix up my Bout of Books though. I'm not going to be able to read on the 19th and 20th, so Bout of Books for me is going to start on the 12th and run through the 18th.

I hope to get a lot of reading in, as I've had some stuff going on lately and haven't been in the mood / been able to read. I got a good Dewey's in but had wanted to read steadily til Bout of Books and that didn't happen.

By starting my BoB on the 12th, I hope to still get a full week of reading in.

YAY! So glad the weekend helped you read a bunch! I'd been looking forward to the same but abandoned newborn kittens got left outside on Sunday, so my reading came to a halt after one book. :/ Started my 2nd one but didn't get it finished.
