i love her outfits! but they were embarrassed by the name. oh well.
the novels typically don't live up the greatness of the manga. i accidentally picked up the novel version on "gravitation." maybe i'll read it over christmas. though, i'm not expecting much out of it. but i didn't even know that there was a holic novel. that's kind of funny!

lol. that's important too!

i searched clamp a while back. clamp seems to come in clumps at the bookstore. so lately i've picked up a ton of clamp. but for a long time there really wasn't much in there. when i get around to it, i'll put up the other books. maybe someone has read the series and not realised it was clamp. that has totally happened to me. haha

probably. there's inflection too, that for me makes it pretty memorable too.

that's it exactly!! i think that way every time i see "vampire knight." i read through 3, and i honestly wanted to cry. it was awful. i know it's rated highly, and wildly popular, but i thought it blew. so every time i see it in the store, i think, 'surely i should give it another go.' then i think about reaching for it. then i think, 'geez, i hates this series, with a passion, why am i reaching for it?' and this happens every single time

i think that happens to a lot of people. music takes lots of dedication to be done well. it's really not an instant deal. though i wish it was.

i guess i misspelled it. bass, maybe. the instrument is spelled that way anyway. it's the beat in the background of the music. it holds the song together.

if it's a good series, i don't mind spending the money, but when it feels like it's dragging and it's over 10, uggggh. i'm so glad "boys over flowers" is at my library. it's over 30 volumes! plus, it's just not good enough for me to purchase. i just don't have the money for that length. "la corda d'oro" is a long one too. it was next on my library list, then i went on my shopping spree. yeah, library books have taken a back seat since then.

yeah, but you can go about it in different was. it could be a mystery, an adventure, by episode, one big story, scary, funny...
i think that i'm to the point where everything is read like each other. which is good, and a little bad.

well, i totally attribute that to a good base line.

before i joined orchestra, i thought i wasn't that musical either. well, i still don't really consider myself that musical, and i played for a long time.

yeah. that's how they get you. you could hate the series, but when you see it in the store you think that you just have to complete it for the whole set, or something

i guess that it's true that history people think somewhat alike

lol. maybe there are jobs? people tend to move where there's work. haha. though there is a surprising number that stays even where there aren't any jobs

i think with the "tokyo babylon" section, we have just about all of the clamp series published in english in here. i think there are like 3 more clamp school series in english, but that's just about it. does anyone know of any others we should have a discussion over?

i'll be honest, i read the first vol like 5 years ago, and was not all that fond of it. i saw a good chunk of the series last month during my shopping spree, and decided to pick it up again. i've read through book two, and it most certainly has picked up. it feels similar to "descendants of darkness," but has a "clamp school detectives" story set up. well, there are only so many ways to tackle fighting off demons in a big place like tokyo.

i had been meaning to add this topic for a while since i picked up most of the books last month. but i really couldn't figure out how to describe it. apparently wikipedia ppl had some issues too since i didn't like the description there too.
so i found this one! yay! webbie:
http://www.oldcrows.net/~rabi/TB/over...there are 7 volumes and an anime series.

Since the time of ancient Japan, Sumeragi clan has been the leading group of Onmyoujis who guard the souls and spirits. This is a story which concentrate on the social background and the inner feelings of the young leader of Sumeragi clan -- Subaru Sumeragi, his twin sister Hokuto Sumeragi, and their friend -- a generous vet as well as a ying-yang magician called Seishirou Sakurazuka who seems to be hiding his darker side of his character. The three of them help get rid of the darkness in the demonic city of Tokyo.

lol. that's why they got a new actor.

yeah, it deals with connections in the brain and whatnot. the information you use the most has greater connections and is easier to access than stuff you don't use as often. well, that was my non-scientific way of explaining something that a non-science person didn't really understand fully.
