Okay, Gang…
Lots of fun stories this week. Ted’s (Theodore Jerome Cohen’s) is a story about World War II and an incident that took place in a church in a small town in France after D-Day.
Alyssa Devine’s tale is a piece of historical fiction. It relates to what actually happened to the punches and matrices for the DOVES type originally developed in London by T. J. Cobden-Sanderson in 1899.*

As always, your support is sincerely appreciated.

*The paperback edition of Ted’s new book of Flash Fiction, which will be released in January, 2018, will be published using the DOVES typeface.

Was it a verified purchase? If not, I would write Amazon and challenge it.

Super issue!!! Great article, Carole. Reading the one about children's books now. Simply super!

I've never seen anything like it. One review, sure...but something on all your books. To die and go to Heaven!!!

Done! Thanks. I must say, she did yeoman's work on your reviews. Truly outstanding.

Can you guys share?"
Wow! It doesn't get any better than this. Congratulations, Carole.

On the KENP chart, the lines, bottom up, are 500, 1,000, and 1,500 pages. On the top chart, 25, 50, 75 books.
And yes, a superb platform. As you said, a real boost when it comes to sales. About 100 discounted Kindle editions of my mystery/thriller Night Shadows were sold during the week the book was on sale.

Here's the latest example. Note how the KENP sales begin the day after the sale started two weeks ago and continue strong right up to today . . . a nice long "tail," something I've seen in the past but not to this extent. I usually run three to four ENT sales each year (with one being Book Of The Day), and have found that if the books are mystery/thrillers or short story anthologies, I do well. Young adult novels and children's storybooks? Not so good. They tell me romances are also popular, however, but that's a genre I've never attempted.

These contests are so much fun. And they keep me going toward my goal of publishing a flash-fiction anthology in January 2018. It's good to have this weekly "forcing function," if you will, to stimulate my brain cells. By the way, Alyssa will be my co-author, given some of the stories are submitted under her name (just to have a little fun). (;>)

Hi, Gang!
Just want to thank you for supporting me this week:
"Alyssa Devine is the Readers’ Choice in this week’s Indies Unlimited Flash Fiction Challenge. The winning entry is decided by the popular vote and rewarded with a special feature here today."

Ted says he'll have something next week about a man talking to a friend of the man's father...bittersweet memories of their childhood. Don't miss it.
As always, thanks for your support.
Alyssa

Terrific interview...comment posted.

I called them and had them link them. I also asked them to create a separate series page for the series.
I did the same with KDP (you can reach a Kindle agent by calling Author Central and asking to be transferred). They are very accommodating.

Not wanting to 'blogwhack' this thread but, coincidentally, I just released a new blog post on typography and book covers..."
Jon, that's a great introduction you posted. I hope the gang takes a few seconds to read it.

Thanks, Carole. As always, could not have done it without your and others' support.

Thanks for helping me with a WIN this week, gang:

Next week, Alyssa tells me she'll spin the tale of a young teenager gone missing. The theme is "Masquerade."
Ted

Yes, that would be nice. For sure.
