201765 Just remember me if you win the lottery lol.

201765 As it stands, as I’m self employed, if I have to self isolate I don’t get statutory sick pay so I just can’t earn for that two weeks and there’s nothing in place to compensate me for loss of earnings. There are millions of us all in the same boat.

201765 I hear we may be asked to self isolate even if we’ve got mild respiratory symptoms within the next two weeks. Seeing as I always have a runny nose and feel like I’m about to start a cold, I imagine my business will fall apart this year. Don’t know how I feel about that.

201765 I was very well behaved and didn’t lick anything. Gemma has been very good at hand sanitiser for years and she doesn’t do people anyway. It will be a relief to have her home in a month. Matt has GCSEs this year and I don’t know if they will be affected but it is possible.

201765 No confirmed cases in my son’s school despite a school trip to Italy recently (he didn’t go). No cases so far in our town. 8 cases in the county where my daughter is at university. We’re just carrying on as normal at the moment. Although my husband has decided not to go to a convention with thousands of other people in London this week. I just had a hospital appointment in London today. I tried not to lick anything.

201765 You are absolutely right. Even with the same level of output I used to have I suddenly earned a lot less each month.

201765 Don’t blame you Carmel. My output is down and I’m behind with my reading. I’m not making anywhere near my membership back.

Thanks Sam. I’ve gone for a coffee.

201765 I downloaded a book from Amazon the other day which cost me 99p. I told my husband about it and he said it sounded like something someone had copied from Wikipedia. It took me about five minutes to read. I'm not at all surprised blank notebooks exist!

201765 Well this has doubled my output for the month!

201765 I think this was damaged before it was wrapped in the packaging. The rest of it is fine. About time he had a new bed. He's 16 and he's been in the same bed since he was a toddler.

If only. I'm lucky to get to sleep by 3am, .and frequently later. Hopefully that will change when I get my new bed."

Speaking of beds, Alex- Matt's new bed has arrived-with a damaged headboard which will be replaced next month. I have given up being disappointed or even surprised with the number of times things arrive damaged in one way or another.

201765 Well done Alexis, that's brilliant news.
