lol. We all have those. Yes I've put 16 years of my life into it, it's still going, but at a much lower level than before and really doesn't make enough money to warrant the effort, but I keep it going for the slimmers I have at the moment. Some of them have been with me for years and are now with me for maintenance. Plodding on.

(I made a paperback. I might have mentioned that once or twice. Yay)

Yeah I know. It's the same with the slimming business. Took years to build that up and one recession to utterly destroy it.

I've ticked some boxes this week. One of my clients for my other business said she'd buy the book, so you know, that's one more!

Straight in to the Smashwords Premium Catalogue again! Yay me. That takes some formatting. And it came back with no errors of any type.

Following an update I have now been rewarded with the up to date copy of Modified on my phone. Whether or not they will enable an update to the two dozen other people that bought it, I can't say until this time next week. The update is only commas, a new cover and new back matter. It's not major readability issues, so they may not. I have asked.

And my other business may break even this week. That would be great as it's running at a loss this month following bailing out a colleague. I am too nice.

There is something to be said for not putting too much pressure on yourself. I pushed myself too hard for a few years then had a mini stroke in 2013. Been winging it ever since lol.

I really am. It's ok I came to terms with it years ago. I'm the person that wanders along side other people doing the same thing-I do ok while they do spectacular things. It's been the same for 30 years. The upside is that I never expect the spectacular so I don't get the devastating disappointment when it doesn't happen.

I'm an "also ran". Even if I had the money it would be an utter waste of everything to even try. But for now it costs money so none of that's happening lol.

Got all excited when I checked KDP reports and saw someone had bought my paperback. Then I realised that was the one I bought and I'm actually £5.43 out of pocket.
