Thanks Erica and Sam. Yeah, I understand what he means. It's just now my iridescent planet is not iridescent. It's kind of beige! Booo.
Alex, 350,000 words? How on earth did you have time to write that as a teenager?

It's got me intrigued too. Be interesting to find out what goes on... lol I'll figure it out in a chapter or so. Thank you btw, I have no manners tonight!

He's actually very helpful in that respect. Some people are just yes men, no use really.
Cover alert

So I thought I had a cover. But my husband came in and said, "What is it?" It's a bloody ghost FFS!
He said it's colourful, but it doesn't drag him into the book. At least with a shirtless torso you know what you're getting. FFS.

ARGGGGHHHHHHH

I "love" it when a traditionally published book contains errors. lol

First on the list too!!

:D

There will now follow a frustrating few hours while I look for a cave and ghost graphic to be the thumb-sized cover that appears on Radish Fiction. I may be some time...

lol you don't write rubbish either. Bulwark is in the Editor's Picks on Radish at the moment. And I'm enjoying it. I don't enjoy rubbish. Thank you for your vote of confidence as always.
By all means be in love with Track, sorry he can't reciprocate, he's gay. But I love him too. And Banyon the dog.

Ah, that's where I saw this post. Found it.
I saw Brit Lunden's Bulwark on the Editor's Picks on Radish. Nice one.

On a no-budget-what I now find indispensable is the text to speech option. I type a chapter up, I run it through Grammarly and ProWritingAid to catch grammar mistakes. Then I let the nice lady in my laptop read it back to me. She is free. The Grammarly I have is free. I paid for ProWritingAid.
Of course the stories might still be rubbish, but at least I've caught technical errors...

It’s a tricky one. I’d love to be able to afford an editor but things like feeding the kids take priority. It’s a reality for a lot of us, so I understand.
What genre have you written?

I keep things in for the kids who don’t eat as much as I do.

I was doing really well without the biscuits until I had to name something. I’ll have to try harder tomorrow. I’ll never get anywhere at this rate.

Go ahead, the concept of man-flu always amuses me. You can buy that in shops now- a thing called Man Flu in a bottle. No idea what it is, some remedy or other.
I must stop eating biscuits. I'm supposed to be dieting...

It's so frustr..."Have you had that breathing checked out? (I can talk I get the same thing when I move, I haven't had mine looked at either.)

I've done the characters with similar names. I had Nate, Tate and Nine at one point in Nate and Day before I change it Nate, Sortien and Twelve. Missing Remnants had Laiten and Lena as a married couple. Tough, besides, I'm Debz married to Danny so stuff like that happens.
I thought about Conquering Iridessia, but every Sci-Fi author conquers something at some point. lol
I've still got Iridessian Haunts until I come up with somefink more cleverer like. Init.
