Here’s a controversial thought. Why is vanity publishing frowned on but as indie authors it’s almost expected that we pay hundreds out for each stage of getting our book out there from editing to covers to promotion? Why is that OK but a one stop shop vanity publisher is not? If I’d taken all of the “required” services an indie is almost expected to, reading some of the prices I would spent close to £1000 just on editing and a cover on Modified because of the length of the book. Then there’s promotional costs to consider. Let’s face it a lot of places will only promote your book for free if it’s priced at free.
I don’t get what the difference is. Authors still shell out hundreds to thousands of pounds whether it’s to a publishing company or to individuals.

Alex in the mean time have you got more prices for the work? I can barely get workmen through the door when we need something done. They just don’t show up. I think one plumber I had booked in is over 20 years late. Guess he’s not coming.
Michael that kind of thing annoys me. Glad you ended the offer. The cheek of it!

Alex I can sympathise my husband always seems to be fixing something new in the house.

Aislinn I retweeted your tweet. Good luck.
Sam, it's probably lucky for me I'm also international because I really like your jewellery.
Alex, you're just doing really well all round.
My news: again, things I'm doing rather than achieving (one day!) I have started my promo campaign for two of my books on Radish.
Oh and I did manage to coerce people into viewing my latest on Radish so it doesn't feel so lonely. Thanks everyone.

It sounds like they withdrew the service 18 months ago and haven't updated parts of their sign-up procedure. That's sloppy.
I'm sure you'll sort it out.

Thanks Carole I really appreciate it.
