201765 Ugh again? And still no answers? Usual thing- hope she’s better soon, hope they find out why soon, yada yada yada.

Honestly it’s head stuff. Why can’t they figure it out?

201765 Oh it’s a weird world and I totally understand why they’d need to charge for entry-every book would be entered if they didn’t.

I suspect for me I’ll end up dying and then having a small following who discovered me after I died and said “yeah she was OK.” I’m sandwiched between 2 paranormals on Radish at the moment each with views in the 800s me with 1. It’s fine. It’s a new story. Two episodes are up. The third is scheduled for next week. I’m writing the 4th now. Once both books are finished I’ll have them covered professionally and on Amazon and start utilising the promo you can buy for Amazon books. I feel like I’m currently using Radish for file storage.

201765 Re the competition entry that's half price at the moment from the other thread: I told my husband last night that authors even have to pay to enter competitions. (Although I've entered one that didn't cost me anything.) He's the main earner so any money I spend would basically be money he'd earnt. At the moment there's no spare. Naturally he thinks the whole industry is unbelievable. Every time I tell him yeah but people spend this on that service he looks at me and says "that's a lot of money." I have a battle on my hands to justify the costs involved. If it was pre-recession, I wouldn't have a problem we had money then.

Funny old world. Of course, if I was earning the money I had back then I wouldn't have time to write. Ah well.

201765 Just a minor Grrr. I don't know where to turn for Radish Fiction promotion. I've just contacted a couple of places.

Anyone who has the Radish fiction app please do me a favour just go to the app and Iridessian Haunts in paranormal and click on the first chapter. It won't cost you anything, but at least it'll make me feel like I'm not the only one who has looked at it. You don't even have to read it. I just want it to say something other than "1 views" when I check on it.

201765 What they said CeDany. I’m on Smashwords too and am
distributed to the other non Amazon ones through them. It does mean you only have to fill everything (finance stuff) in once and they set it up. I find their formatting for their upload a pain in the backside, but there’s an free ebook that spells it out. Can I ask-why not Amazon though?

Awesome thanks. And you can't be as slow a reader as me. I managed 20 minutes two weeks ago. 10 on Bulwark and 10 on RL's Sunrise Tonight. Screaming ahead with my reading. lol

201765 That’s very good. Thanks to people here I’ve not got an average of 4 and above on my two. I’m very grateful for those.

201765 Well done. I can't imagine what it's like to be read by that many people.

201765 No idea how they number them. I know they exist. I’ve read some. I’m sure you’ll sort it.

201765 I've sent you a desperate plea lol!

201765 Iridessian Haunts by Amy J. Hamilton

I've got another book on the go on Radish Fiction (that one you need to download the app for. Then the first three chapters of everything are free.)

Iridessian Haunts is set on a planet called Iridessia which, you've guessed it, may be haunted.

Here's the blurb:

"Kanner, Nix and the team have been sent to a primitive planet ahead of the construction companies. Their remit is to ascertain the viability of peacefully living on Iridessia alongside the indigenous species.

Probes have already sent back favourable reports.

The probes had not met the locals.

Kanner and Nix must observe the creatures on the planet whilst dealing with dark forces their best scientists will have difficulty explaining."

Just download the Radish Fiction app on your iOS or Android device to start reading Iridessian Haunts currently listed in the Paranormal genre.

It's one of my weirder efforts! Thank you for reading.

201765 Followed everyone so far.

201765 Despite my best efforts I cannot get my cover for Iridessian Haunts to display on the Radish thumbnail. It shows up fine when you click on the book and it looks fine on the system. I've used their recommended sizes, I've gone a few pixels smaller. I have emailed them.

How am I supposed to get that into their Halloween collection if I can't get the thumbnail to display in the way every other book does?
