But... getting readers to move on to #3 seems to be a bit easier in the UK. But... neither US nor UK trickle down as much as I'd like them to and I've heard that's just the way of things. Some very nice (xx) people have asked if I am going to write #4 but I am thinking that if the trickle gets any slower, it will stop, so why would I want to write another? I might do later because I enjoy writing the books.
I think the trick is to write in the same genre rather than a series. But... you only have to look at Midsomer Murders and their 100+ TV programmes to disprove what I've just said. And Downton Abbey and so on.
I suppose I'm suggesting authors write in the same genre (if they like it) but create different characters? Just a thought and certainly not a personal comment on your characters, Alex. Just me thinking with my fingers here.

Mobile library (don't forget those, folks) - looked up on i/net, a fortnightly service but did not say which week... I turned up and it wasn't that week. I'll try again next week. Sigh.
Shari - you give us hope!

Woman Scorned - does that give too much away?

As Alex says, please keep us informed.

What!!!! Wow!!!! Atagirl!!!!
Tell us more...

I missed the bubble too, just got in on the end of it. My first was published in 2012 but I came across a first draft when turning 'stuff' out and it seems I'd started writing for real in 2007, I just took a long time to get anything finished!

The FF sounds super.

The reporting system seems a bit creaky for me at the moment. It doesn't seem to link up to my KDP account where I can easily find the daily reports for the US.
But I am oh so very pleased to have achieved something this week. Brits struggling in the heat will know what I mean.
THANK YOU, C.L. and others who have joined in.

If I find some are running up plenty of clicks but producing no sales after several months, I pause them.
One book on AMS US looks good to me (!!!!!) but gets very few clicks and most of those are on one series of books I manually inserted. Two sales from AMS in about six months or more. Complete failure really. There are, however, some KU downloads which don't show up in the sales charts.
But the other book racks up heaps of clicks, costs a fortune but produces some sales and KU reads.
Amazon is the winner, but it's cheaper than playing golf, tennis or skiing.

I'll come back later with a tanker - so many to choose from...
