201765 I'm late to the game but excited by all the flurry of action. So, I figure I'll pick up on what's going on. Sounds like a sale event at the end of March? Sounds awesome!
Thank you! (106 new)

Genre: Gay Fantasy

Edge of Desperation

Assistant Professor Reggie Wolfe has simple goals: to help his engineering students succeed and to stop male Wielders from falling into Taint without drawing attention from the Bureau of Wielder Services. A select few can Wield the Nerve of the World. Women Wielders do so freely, without any repercussions. For men, it's another story. They fight Taint and Corruption for the same power.

Reggie's easy life upends when Kyle, a young male Wielder, lands at his feet, trapped in his Taint and pursued by the very criminal Wielder cults the Bureau is fighting. As the two work to control Kyle's Taint, Reggie realizes he will do everything he can to help Kyle, even follow him into darkness.

Edge of Desperation is the opening novella to the Wielder World series—gay urban fantasy full of magic, suspense, and dedication born of trial and blood.

201765 I agree, Alex. I think, though, when you have new books out, it's nice to send out a newsletter letting people know. I plan on only doing a newsletter a few times a year. I hate it when authors spam me.

201765 Goals for 2017:
Set up an instafreebee thingy to build newsletter list
package a short story for a giveaway
outline next two novels in one series
publish another in the first series.

Plus more stuff. I don't have numbers goals on followers and the like. I just have personal goals.

Good luck to everyone in reaching their goals!

Yeah, I feel the same way. It's such a huge cost, it's scary.

201765 AskDavid told me they had hardly any click throughs on their ads to my book and said they'd refund... though I never saw the actual refund. So... If you have an awesome tweet and the right book, it might be useful, but wasn't useful for me.

I had a few gay romance sites earn me clicks more so (I write gay fantasy) than traditional book ad site routes.
