I'm stoked about that. So stoked. Stoked to the max. S-Toked.
It's nice and the basics are there, but I think you should challenge yourself to show a bit more character. I would DEFINITELY add a link to the menu that leads to a page that contains your books, their blurbs and purchase links instead of just that one clickable picture at the sidebar.
P.S. I would make the link in the sidebar that leads to the mailing list clickable.

You got to crawl before you can walk, yup.
Rome wasn't build in a day.
Shit, I help promote events and make banners even when I get zero return and won't expect to get anything from it. Maybe I'm a bit too nice and trusting though lol. Anyways, I posted about my event in SIA again because YOLO. :p

I've always been a very active member of SIA and quite helpful. Also annoying but mostly helpful. I'd like to think they wouldn't mind me posting about our event in there. That's my hope anyways.
They are a big group and their events always have great results. My hope is that we will get there someday SOON. I will definitely continue to work my butt off to make that happen.
Anyways, doing my last round of promotion today!
Groovy wrote: "Thanks, Alexis:) Where's your author page? I looked and looked. You know I'm slow.
I got more promoting to do, and book shopping:)"
You just click on my name and whoop, there it is. *dances*

There's a simple Dutch proverb I live by: "Nee heb je, ja kun je krijgen" which translates to "Right now you have a "no", a "yes" is still possible" or "There's no harm in trying."
It TOTALLY loses something in translation lol.

Lolol. I always sold the most cookies, carwash tickets in school lol. Girl, I'm a pain in the butt.
Maybe you can contact bookstores in your neighborhood and offer them 25% if they allow you to place a table in their stores.
I.. don't have one. I need to fix that asap. That's a good one. Is it new? I remember you having a different but quite catchy opening.

So many groups with folders allowing for promotions you guys! Come on, don't be shy. Just make sure to read their rules. If they delete your post or tell you NO, guess what happens? Nothing, you can just brush it off. By the way. I have an author page on here now: What the f### LOL! So unreal. Just noticed it as I was about to DM a user.
Groovy wrote: "There are a lot of free downloads for me, but so far not a sale.I've been spending the better part of the day reminding everyone of the event. I'm still not finished..."
Remember to post in readers group too. Not just where authors hang out :D

Hey look at it this way, your investment was zero and you connected with tons of people.
I am about to hit some more Goodreads groups.
Yesterday's Google analytics data
I promised to be transparent with you guys :)
Not bad numbers yesterday and the average pageview per visitor is high but hopefully better today.

I'm surprised about Children's fiction, honestly! And I thought romance would be #1."
Me too. But they have the cutest covers. That was yesterday though. I won't get today's numbers until tomorrow.
