It was fun to listen to, Aislinn! I was always curious to what "degree you were pretending never happened" and now I know. :D
My first book, a novella, is basically my way of starting to get my name out there. It will be 0.99 on a permanent basis so the chances of me becoming rich off it are pretty low lol. Anyways, since my main goal is too get readers acquainted with my writing, I'm considering enabling lending. Has anyone done this before? If so, can you offer some insight into the benefits, if there are any?

I live in Rotterdam, write erotica and drink COCA COLA. Sometimes Pepsi. Depends on my mood, really.

Posting a very thought provoking article on Nav Indie in a second. The author says: promoting does not work. That should lead to some interesting discussions lol.
Thank you ladies. I got them and will be sending you a version of the anthology for you to approve tomorrow. You ladies rock. I want to thank you again for writing the stories on such short notice. :)
I postponed my book. Yes, again. I haven't been able to concentrate to write because my mind is filled with like 6382819 worries about 647281911 things. Luckily, the bloggers I contacted were nice about postponing and I promised everyone who marked my book as to-read on Goodreads a free ARC. The rest of my pre orders were from friends who won't mind the wait, I hope. The world is insane and I'm losing my mind a bit more every day lol. I wish I could care less. I HAVE to get this first book out man. It's like a hurdle that I need to jump but every time someting happens that ruin it. Okay, anyways. That's my GRRRR. On the upside, I got contacted to write a really interesting article for a law journal so my day did not suck as bad as it could have.
Kay wrote: "It's crazy o clock in the morning for me here, but I hope you have an awesome time!"Oh shit.
I'm such a dummy. Why did I think that was 12am European Time? Did Google lie to me? Was I asleep when I booked this crap?
Oh well, I'll probably be awake around that time anyways lol.
Groovy wrote: "I think if I changed my keywords my books would probably do better. I just can't get the hang of getting the right keywords. I could sure use some tips."How about a cover revamp for your older books?
It is something that I've seen other authors do: e.g. Kresley Cole.
You can make a whole event out of it with the unveiling etc, and you can also hold a sale.
Examples of other authors doing it

Julia Quinn added a second epilogue when she changed the cover. Which helps because old fans can then buy it again knowing they're not just getting a new cover but also new content (and at a bargain!)

So yeah, that could be a fun way to blow some life into your back catalogue. :)

If you can think of more tips, you should consider writing an article for www.navigatingindieworld.com! :)
