Exactly! .33 royalty is insulting and i get needing to get your name out there, but I have bills. That's not gonna work for me. It's always gonna a be a readers market, but at what point do we as authors stand up and say "I'm not going to lowball my hard work and you're gonna pay a fair value", AND promoters realize a promo is a promo. Separate the categories if need be but don't cut everyone out?!
If we don't do this, I won't be surprised to see promotions only accepting .49c books soon. #justsayin'

I don't understand why every company only does promos to discounted books. I get readers want a deal, but for goodness sake, NO ONE can run a promo if it's not discounted to pennies or cost almost a grand with a Bookbub??

Omg I'm literally watching my favorite studio documentaryThe Last Days of Anne Boleyn. This era and her story have fascinated me since I was a little girl. I have to read that book Carole!
