Sending prayers Alex. Xoxo

Hope your moms ok Alex. Don't let the pus you around. Make them find the reason before discharging her.

Oh awesome will do, thanks!

Omg CL your scrivener is so organized. I have it and am soo intimidated by it, I haven't used it outside of the notecards, but you made some valid points regarding the endless scrolling in Word. It's so annoying and i think I'm gonna give scrivener another go and pray for the best lol.

Lmao, you'll breeze through it I'm sure

Oh I can relate. My book had about 20 titles because everyone I decided on was taken. What I did was to think of the emotion in the book, that correlates to the actions of my characters. So I'd say start there, and when you have like 5 or 6 words you like go to google and search for a book title generator. A lot are crappy but some do help. Then plug in the questions they ask with some of the words and start writing down the ones you like best.
Then, really think about them cause what you liked an hour ago you'll hate later. Try mixing and matching those and if they still don't work, or the titles are taken, start again but try to find words that speak to the premise of the story and hopefully it'll help.

I do this all the time Nicole but you taught me a thing or two with targeting based on the top 100. Thanks!!

I agree Alex. I've already heard iBooks is trailing albeit slowly but the Zon is gonna piss off the people providing their bread and butter and force them to other outlets. And it may be for the better to be honest.

Woooow Amazon is getting more disappointing by the minute

Hey Amy, I have scrivener and all I've done is outline on it. I can't get in the habit of actually writing in it. With "the gram" as long as you read the sentence and pay attention to what suggestions grammerly is throwing at you, you should be fine.

Thanks Shannon. Glad you like it!

Ooh Love Jennifer Donnelly

Yeah that's what I meant Alex, perhaps I should have clarified.

Apparently this practice has been going on for a while, and it appears to be legal depending on all parties involved. It makes me think though: if a bestseller list helps get my books seen, and from what it looks like these authors basically rallied together to pay for a ton of marketing services and catapulted them (and probably only needed to do it once) what's the big deal?
I mean we pay tons of bucks to promos that don't work, giveaway tons to readers who could care so little they don't even bother to grace you with a review,
(That costs us money), yet I'm supposed to look down my nose at authors that kind of found a way to work the system in their favor? Hmm not me. I don't have the money to do a 2000 box set, but if I did and I could be in the company of good writers with more clout than me and would help me get on a list, that I could piggyback from on my other novels, I think I'd give it a try.

Gonna see about enlarging for you Alex. I'll send it to you later. Doing 20 things at the moment but I'll get it to ya.

You can say that again Amy
