193869 This is the discussion thread for members who have completed the entire 2019 Reading Challenge by Dec. 31st, 2019, to work together to select our January 2020 Book of the Month.

Like all BotM selections the comic book (or manga) picked for this month must fit these requirements:

- Fits the month's theme
- Available in English
- Available digitally (legally)
- Available in print
- Is NOT an Omnibus or multi-volume collection

Let's try to have a book selected by January 12th!
193869 insert joke about it being 2020

It's a new year! What comics are you reading this month? Anything that you missed out on in 2019 that you want to read this year? Do you have any comic book goals for 2020?

193869 Kait! look, we have more Lady Mechanika readers :D

I've been slow on reading the last few days, but I did read through most of とんがり帽子のアトリエ 4 Tongari Boushi no Atelier 4 (Witch Hat Atelier vol. 4), which continues to be intriguing and adorable.

193869 Wow! That’s a serious steal for such a great comic.
193869 This book was extremely good. I felt very uncomfortable in all the right ways. I think I'm definitely going to continue to read the rest of these books. As Oneirosophos said, this book shocked me as a Westerner and I need to know more.

(I went into some more thoughts on this week's show out on Wednesday!)

193869 WANDER: A Johnny Wander Travelogue Collection

This is a very laid back, autobiographical diary-OGN of small stories by Yuko Ota and Ananth Hirsh about their travels across the world (namely, Japan). I've only read part of this but it's pretty unique.

Oh! Or just watch the GLOW tv show, then read the GLOW comic (GLOW #1) - inspired by an actual wrestling group from the 80s)!
