193869 After re-reading Saga Vol. 1, I'm reminded of all of the incredible seed sown in this book that blossom as the story goes on. Such a great starting volume to a series.

193869 Each months' Book of the Month nominations must fit that month's theme. Nominations may be any style of comic (American, European, manga, etc) that meets the following requirements:

- Fits the month's theme
- Available in English
- Available digitally (legally)
- Available in print
- Is NOT an Omnibus or multi-volume collection
- Something our group has not read before (IRCB's read shelf)

The themes for 2020 are:

*January: 2019 Challenge Finishers’ Pick
Description: Picked by our Goodreads 2019 Reading Challenge completers

February: Romance plot or sub-plot
Description: Comics or Manga where romance is a significant part of the story

*March: Women creative team
Description: Comics or Manga written and drawn by women

April: Fairy tale/folk tale/mythology adaptation
Description: Comics or Manga that feature a retelling of a fairytale or folktale. Example: Hellboy, Fables, Pretty Deadly

*May: Non-English language (translated into English)
Description: Comics and Manga that were initially written and published in a language that is not English.

June: Own Voices
