189072 I went through a similar experience with my own mother's death, so felt a close kinship to the author's story. Cooking my mother's dishes has always been my way to honour her too. It was comforting to know my experiences were not unique. The book was well-written but my zero knowledge of Korean food hindered my full enjoyment.
