I really struggled with this one all the way through. On here and IRL I know people love this book. I felt like the first part was way over the top fluff and the jump in time was abrupt and I felt like the drama over the killing was so forced. Maybe some of my reaction is tainted because of the modern stories I'm consuming. Though I loved Les Miserable and 3 Musketeers I went through last year.
