189072 I am excited for this to start just so I can finish all my books!!!

- Someone remind me to enjoy it and not get caught up in the challenge

189072 Just a reminder that you can start reading even now! What matters is when you finish a book. This is the only month that you have the opportunity to "get a headstart" so to speak.

Are you including the monthly EHRTBM group reads? We get bonus points for them! :)

189072 So excited! Just a couple of days away. So, I have a handful of books started and not finished so I can start October with a running start. Looking forward to this!

You are free to read anything you want! There are some additional rules to guide how many points you can receive for what you read however. E.G. current EHRTBM group reads get a +.5 point credit.

In the past, you could post your completed reads after you finish each book. Also we have typically picked a post to collect the totals of the books we read each month to help us record and gather the information easier.

189072 Water Bender here! Just a heads up that it can be helpful to grab 3 spots together to track your monthly reading.

I'm John from Southern Cal in the US. Love books and can be found listening to audiobooks all day long. Don't really have a favorite genre but since Harry Potter and the Dresden Files are 2 of my favorite series I guess you can say I really like Urban Fantasy. Also a past Hufflepuff.

189072 Welcome all!!

It's a lockdown. Stay inside and away from people. Sounds like a bookreaders perfect scenario!

While the global scenario is not uplifting, you can enjoy the comforts of a good book. May your pages be quick, your stories long and your adventures bountiful.

189072 Finished it yesterday. I had to go to spark notes to understand part of it. Any underlying themes I need to be conscious of?

Good points. It makes the story real but also disheartening that Cora can't catch a break.
