THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM RESTARTING THIS STORY. I swear to all the gods.

It depends on how you would approach it. The mood of the piece. You could go any way, really, and still keep it realistic. Staying happy-ish and pleasant would be the obvious thing to do, though it would still be an interesting read.
(If you are still entertaining this idea.)

I know everyone has become inactive but I'll start updating my folder, add one for you R.D. and I'm sure things will pick up.

I'm struggling to justify bringing a second narrator into my story, Ash Rising. My main narrator is an assassin named Aurea. I love her dearly but I was writing the back story for one of my other characters, Prince Tierni Cruce, and I realized I was just as in love with his story as Aurea's.
So I have a question for you: what would I have to do to tell these two different stories in my book? Should I have them both meet at some point? If so, should they part ways again or stay together after that?
Aurea's story is about bringing a kingdom to its knees and assassinating the king.
Tierni's story is about the kingdom south of where Aurea's takes place. Tierni is one of the princes and his twin brother, Altair, is the favorite. Tierni's story is about being the hated prince, with no one to love him. It's about what that kind of life has turned him into.
I could go on but I'll shut up now. I'd appreciate any feedback or opinions about this.
Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome! Congrats on making it through a third of your novel. That's a big accomplishment. Whenever I get that far into anything I have second thoughts, it's the worst.
You said you're trying to find your style, but do you have a preferred genre?

Both folders are posted and should be visible from the main page!

I apologize for how long it took me to get back online! We didn't have internet for a while and I was going crazy, but I'm back. :)
I will make your folder today and can't wait to see what you post, though of course you don't have to start posting right away.
I, too, am a fantasy writer. I'd love to hear about whatever fantasy you're working on. Anyway, welcome to the group and sorry again all!
(Do you want your folder to be titled Caitlyn's Folder or Nox's Folder, by the way?)

Mind=Blown."
I appreciate that! If you read any more of it, please tell me what you think.

It's a balancing act. I can be heavily influenced by other novels and there have been points in my life where I couldn't even read a book because if it was good, it would make me want to write a story in that genre. If it was bad, I wanted to write a book in that genre to prove I could do it better. Lol.

This is reminding me of the plot of that movie, The Awakening. Nothing wrong with that at all, just wanted to make you aware of it on the off-chance you haven't seen this movie.
Have you started writing this yet?

Nice to meet you Taz. I created your folder under the name Scheherazade, if you want me to rename it to Taz's Folder please let me know.
I'm also a fantasy writer. I'd love to hear more about your novel! If you post info about it in your folder I'll definitely look it over. And if you need help coming up with name ideas, we can offer suggestions.

Hi Renee, welcome to TSA! :)
I'd like to know more about this fantasy novel, because fantasy is my genre. I started a horror/supernatural novel and it somehow morphed into a fantasy novel, haha.
I'll create a folder to you in a minute so feel free to post your project ideas if you want. Nice to meet you.
