Touch the DarkHaven't read it, and it does appear to have vamps, but the h seems like your pref. It's free on iBook right now (first in series thing)
I dont think so, but jic. Holding Out, she moves in across from a bikers club. Bashes on the door when they keep waking up her kid. He sees her, likes her, but decides to wait for her to come to him. A year or so later, gets sick of waiting for her and makes his move... just as her past explodes. If you like snark, there's some wicked support characters... if you don't like snark... maybe give it a miss ;)

A wander thru my shelves. Some are supersweet all the way, some hide it, and some have their moments.
Dragon Rose, Beauty & the Beast. BUT... I can't remember how clean it is. Pretty sure there's not much swearing, and he keeps at a distance because of the curse. They may or may not get it on in the end, but it's likely just a 'they can finally be together... day later, how happy they are etc'.

You've probably already tried, but surely the list of audiobook sources you use can't be that big... couldn't you go thru your borrow/purchase history and see if it shows up?

Don't think it's what you're looking for, but James Patterson also has a story that has two different story lines. First book is just a duo. Second set is a series with the same characters as the first, from the same original situation, but whole new storyline. First books MA15+, second set are PG13.

I think it's all the completely made up words and beyond bizarre names. But then I hate the ones that exchange known words for similar too... Stim or caff for coffee. My brain starts screaming at me to check if a teenager wrote it :/. I have less problems with most fantasy tho for some reason. I find if the characters and story aren't strong enough to grab me and distract me from the 'inventive phrasing', then there's no hope.
The 3013: is good. The first one is probably the hardest 'to get through' in terms of erotica ott. Have you ever changed from a big computer screen down to a little one...? I find myself leaning closer and trying 'to see around the edges' to the rest of the page I can't see. It's similar with these books at times, I'm trying to see around the sex to get back to the story!

Nimisha's Ship, which you may have read. Also, I never got to read it in the end, but one of Iain M Banks books, Surface Detail has a female lead I think. And there is a series with multiple authors that you can search for by using '3013:', it is actually erotica, but in this instance the 'I read the playboy mag for the articles' actually fits. The stories and characters are pretty good, and quite often the sex is just in the way, so it's easy to skim/skip.
Don't think it will be what you're looking for, but Identical Disaster it a twin switch. It's not good v bad, it's kind, caring, doormat v spoiled, irresponsible, brat. SIB doesn't bother to take care of anything boring, even breaking up with her own boyfriends, so KCDm takes it on herself to put them out of their misery... Only this time it backfires when he's super pushy and doesn't back off when convincing her they really do need to get on the plane for his family vacation now! KCDm caves with the intention of forcing SIB to come and take her place... but SIB refuses, so she's stuck on a family holiday with people she doesn't know, who don't like her (his mum), and a boyfriend she's never met.
Oh, there's My Fair Lily, again, not good v bad. And the switching is just a side plot.
