What I do remember is the lying about popularity to 'cousin' etc. But I think the cousin moved to town because of a messy divorce her parents were having. I keep thinking there's something about one of them having a car or no car, and/or giving the other a lift near the start.
If that rings any more bells for you, let me know and I'll have a look... not sure if I'll be able to pin it down tho.

They are neighbours and he keeps blocking her car in by parking in the wrong spot. The h has a bad day and when H refuses to move his car (porche), she just smiles at him and reverses straight into him with her POS honda(?).
Instead of calling the cops, they start a prank war and later in the story when the h still hasn't fixed her car (she's broke), the H (rich) 'steals' it and takes it to his auto shop and insists his head mechanic works on it.
Only part of the story, but it might be it.

And now Erin, you've added Priceless to my list... but it's not on iBooks :(
Woe is me... these books are going to bug me for ages! :/

Each book is about another couple. It's a 'different world' series where changelings (shifters) are part of the norm, and then there are humans and also Psy, who are humans that have powers (telekinetics, foreseers, telepaths, and a ton of others). Most of the books are based on two different changeling packs, and a few are Psy focused, but the changelings are still in them. The first series is about 16 books, and she's just started another arch that will have other packs and groups with mostly only cameos from the first arch.

Werewolves obviously, but the female (or girls as she likes to call them) get a few heightened senses at 16, but unlike the men (yes men, even tho they are teenagers too) - who are portrayed as studs, aka manwhores, the 'girls' can't shift until they have found their mates and allowed them to bite them and screw them. And even once they do, they are still ovary-disabled and not strong enough to be taken seriously (or quite frankly treated with any respect, even if they are all teenage-impared). They are allowed to 'train' but not 'fight'... tho every random girl mentioned in the book is either hitting on the manly men or noted as cooking or looking after kids.
I've just read it so I'm still worked up... so I'll give you a spoiler (if it will work on my phone)

To the Mod? Could you please add 'spoiler' to the title? I can't edit on my phone :(

Possibly book 1 of more
m-mn = maybe, maybe not
-The h has a history of assault and can't get close to anyone but her cousin(?)
-the H is a friend of the cousin who kind of makes it his mission to desensitise her and get her to trust him. There's a bit where he tries to get her to come to a poker game, but she won't come until everyone's gone and just the H and her cousin are left... poker 'monies' is candy cause he's figured out she's an sugar addict
-there's a bit where she's talked into playing a game of basketball with their 'group' and the H tries to high five her and she freaks and cringes or backs away from him like she's going to hit her
-the H freaks her out by showing up at her house to try and get her to hang out or play basketball. They end up playing outside once he realises that he needs to keep his distance and 'no fast moves' to freak her out. Cousin comes home and realises what a huge step this is
-I think the h & cousin moved to go to college to get away from whatever it was that happened to her... big news?
-her family is gone (cousins family too I think, so they are it for each other) and the cousin is 'devoted' to being there for her because she's so messed up (not in any creepy way, just a very loyal, 'we have us' way)
-the h hasn't been sleeping cause of issues and nightmares. She's drinking heaps. Maybe she sleeps better when the cousin is there, or there's something wrong with his accommodation (maybe just grungy college boys), so he moves in with her. There's an issue when he points out he would like to have friends over and she's a bit freaked about guys in her home. She lets him, but tries to hide out in her bedroom. The cousin points out he'd never let anyone he didn't trust around her, so she steps out to meet them. This includes the H, but not sure if it's the first meeting or not
-they do get a handle on some of her issues and she moves in with the H
-the H is a fighter, and end up getting a contract/sponsor that might be an issue with them. Oh, maybe she doesn't know he's a fighter and finds out the wrong way and flips because of her past? 'How can someone be that violent just in the cage... he's bound to hurt her too etc'
Think he's been hiding the fights cause he knows she has issues, but turns down a HUGE go professional contract and does one last fight, when she finds out.
-possibly bk2 is about her accepting he likes to professionally fight, but isn't a violent guy etc. cause he really wanted to go professional, but would give it up for her.
May or may not be part of this book...
-they might go to the beach to surf and she strips to a bikini (yellow?) and body boards while they are out, but she runs back and gets dressed when she sees they're coming in. He's a bit upset she doesn't trust him as much as he thought, but later realises it was about the scars she has from the ex
-it's possible the h's issues stem from an older abusive boyfriend.
-Parents tried to split them up repeatedly (tho I don't think they knew about the abuse, just that he's maybe 19ish to her 15-16 and he's an asshole), but she stuck it out.
-think the boyfriend is 'ready' for her to quit school so she can help support him or maybe just not have any distractions from him, and get out from 'under her parents thumbs'
-Pretty sure he forces her (yes rape, but not quite in her mind after he's twisted it all) her to have sex with him when ever he wants (for a lot of the relationship... m-mn he 'waited' for her to be legal, so she owes it to him?). He's also cheating at his 'adult parties' that he doesn't invite her to because she's too young to drink (his reasoning).
-think he beats on her too, but it's remotely possible that could be more of a 'by product' of his rough handling than an actual 'hit her'
-she finally wants to break up with him and he 'blackmails' or talks her out of the house someway, m-mn by threatening the parents. She goes to end it, but he's all 'your mine' and tries to kill her.
BIG MAYBES...
I have two things running thru my head for how the parents died. I'm sure I've read both, but not sure which or if they relate to this book.
One is the psycho boyfriend slitting the parents throats and burning the house down, but that contradicts with the other bit that he tries to kill her in his apartment (timing issues in my head).
The other thing is that they realised she's snuck out again and go after her, but maybe get in a car wreck?
Either way, the h is 'responsible' for her parents death and she's left with enough money to move the cousin and her and buy a house for herself.
Sorry, I've rambled heaps... but every time I try and clean and edit it... I just add more :(

Book 1, In Too Deep is about Fallon, a Druid who takes off when her boyfriend (tiger shifter) cheats and ends up in Edenton where her friend moved a couple tears before. A wolf shifter runs into her bike while running from Vamps and she heals him and kills them. When she tattoos people, she can weave spells into them.

I think there might have been another book after this one too, whether it was already part of a series of not.

Read a few years ago
-the h is working for her BFF who married a rich guy and got thrown into the functions, charities and event life and needed help to organise everything.
-the h has obvious tattoos which stand out when she's dressed for events and I think that might be the first thing that caught the H's attention.
-they were at an event that the h organised for her friend that had an auction happening
-I THINK the h (or someone) broke the vase that the H had donated so he somehow convinced her to take its place in the auction and won the bidding
-H convinces her to sit for his 'artistic' purposes. There are a few different sessions. Painting, photos (think she got herself off in that session and freaked), and later a sex on clay session, and one where he paints her white to cover the tattoos which has it's own issues
-It may be a second book in a series because there was some kind of story behind the h's BFF and her husband. The h showed up to talk once and found the BFF in a D/s get up and later in the convo, realised the hubby was still tied up up stairs cause she interrupted a scene.
-at some point he convinces her to go on immediate holiday with him... To the Dominican Republic maybe? The trip causes problems cause there's a whole other thread of the story coming from his life and they end up cruising around on a boat.
Can add more, but they're mostly spoilers...

Books geared towards tween girls developing fast and ways for them to deal with unwanted attention

I'm looking for a book/s that would be oriented towards young girls that are maturing physically faster than emotionally. I guess somewhere in the 'tween' age group of 9-12, where boys are starting to take notice, but the girls aren't interested yet. Or even vice versa if you can think of anything.
Hoping for something that will help them with ideas on how to deal with the interest politely, without hurting feelings or drawing more interest.
And/or books for parents in this situation.
Thanks
