185 I don’t remember much, but her goes.

Ebook, probably iBooks (Oz)
Likely read in the last 5 years
Possibly a series

- Think it’s is a biker book, but maybe some other kind of organisation - likely criminal in nature
- Pretty sure the bad guy is a cop, corrupt and/or just obsessed with bring the other team (or person) down
- The book is about his teen/twenties daughter (I’m pretty sure) and the son(?) of his ‘enemy’
- Think she either had very little to do with the bad dad, or a very bad relationship
- Later we find out that when the leader of the group got his women pregnant, the bad guy purposefully got someone pregnant in the hope of his daughter hooking up with the other guys kid when they grew and helping him take them down.
- From memory, he’s always treated her like crap and has never ‘trained’ her or cultivated her loyalty to help with this scheme. Just shows up when she miraculously runs into and falls in love with the correct son etc and demands her to follow orders.

Thanks 😊

185 I’d open a new thread with the details, and add the URL link to the abandoned thread.
185 Ah, Murphy’s law. I couldn’t find it... only to find it when I gave up.

185 There’s one we’re H finds h in the elevator as he’s leaving his penthouse and assumes his brother(?) followed thru on getting him an escort for his birthday. She’s just had a run in with her ex and plays along. Next days he asks brother for her details and figures out she wasn’t an escort.

If it sounds right I’ll have a hunt for it.

185 Non-fiction is ok as long as it’s good and doesn’t bore you to tears.

Fiction as long as it goes into either the realities of hoarding or the hoarders mind. Not something that has a hoarder character who’s just there.

I’ve just read one where the h’s mum is a hoarder and the h has had interaction with her (cleaning, ‘reasoning’ with her), and also splashed a little ‘her problem has affected my life in these ways’, but the whole hoarding issues is clearly just a convenience that isn’t explored.

Thanks
185 I’m sure I know this one... will have a hunt and keep this link in my ‘to find’ list.
