Most of the book is set in 1944, when MC accidentally time travels there.

And I just flipped through it, and she only had 10% of her brain remaining after the accident, and there is a lot of discussion of "what's the most important 10%" of a person, etc..

Marta - I have the book in my hand now and yes, there is an epilogue set 260 years later (which I didn't remember AT ALL from when I first read the book). But before that is a scene where she destroys all the backups (even using the work "backups")
