185 You're welcome! Happy to help. I'll mark this solved for you.
185 6X: The Uncensored Confessions, maybe? It has a character named Wynn, and a band with three girls and one guy.

185 Oh, I think I might have found it! April Witch April Witch by Majgull Axelsson
185 The Tale of Halcyon Crane, maybe?

Edit: whoops, Kris just beat me to it!
185 The Adoration of Jenna Fox, maybe? The Adoration of Jenna Fox (Jenna Fox Chronicles, #1) by Mary E. Pearson

Published in 2008, so maybe too late but worth mentioning.
185 Possibly one of the "Justice" books by Virginia Hamilton. I think Dustland has a character seeing auras.
185 Frisco Pigeon Mambo

The Sex Lives of Cannibals: Adrift in the Equatorial Pacific

(both of these are hilarious and I highly recommend, BTW)

185 Yes, don't give up, Paige! Hang in there and keep bumping your thread once a month or so, to keep it near the top of the list.

Here are a few other eating disorder books from the 80's:

Second Star to the Right

Goodbye, Paper Doll

Kessa (sequel to Best Little Girl in the World)

Toughing It Out (published 1990)

Looking Good
185 The title of this book always makes me giggle because of the implicit irony: How to Read a Book -- I mean, if you don't know how to read a book in the first place, how much help will it be to read a book on the subject?

185 I don't recall if it was anorexia or bulimia or any specifics, but an eating disorder book that I read in the 80s and spent a long time searching for is Early Disorder
185 Maybe The Shimmering Ghost of Riversend?

If not, maybe you'll find your book in this list: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...
185 Rain - Lord's suggestion.
185 Great! I'll move this thread to "solved" for you.

185 Amanda, I'm a mod and agree with Aerulan - the way you handled this is just fine. Thanks for stepping up and adding that info to the thread.

Kris, I think you misunderstood Amanda's question. She was not the OP, she just filled in some missing info after the OP deleted the initial query. I've taken care of the housekeeping on the thread.
