185 Possibly Skin Hunger, although maybe the second book in that series: Sacred Scars - I think the second one deals more with the boys in the caves copying magic documents.
185 Yay! You're welcome. I'll move this to solved.
185 Theories of Relativity, maybe?

If not this one, roughly how long ago did you read it?
185 I think this may be The Color of My Words
185 If you're still looking, the book you're looking for is Turn Me On, by Jack W Thomas. The main character's name is Eve. (I collect these books, too!)
185 The Wicker King by Ancrum, Calvin by Martine Leavitt, Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman. It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. Suicide Notes by Michael Thomas Ford.
185 Yay!! Glad I could help! I'll move this to solved for you.
185 Madly is first in a series about a teenage alchemist named Samantha (Sam) Kemi.
185 Possibly My Warrior's Heart -- which was reissued with a new title: The Enchantment

from a user review: "Serrick brings his three daughters to the village of Borger, a powerful jarl, and gives them in payment of a tax debt--but with conditions. No man may touch them or wed them until one man can defeat Aaren in sword fighting; then each may be given in marriage. Borger accepts the payment and the conditions with his eldest son, Jorund, in mind. Jorund is a huge, handsome Viking, who two years ago tired of battlelust and the "dew of wounds" (blood). Jorund has no intention of fighting any woman, but after Aaren defeats two of Borger's best warriors, Borger decrees that no man may fight Aaren save Jorund."
185 This scene happens in: My Sweet Audrina
185 I think these are the Stevie Diamond mysteries, by Linda Bailey. The first in the series is How Come the Best Clues Are Always in the Garbage? and How Can I Be a Detective If I Have to Baby-Sit? is the one with the lumberjacks.

185 Yay! Glad you found it so quickly. Here's the link: The Picolinis
185 Thursday's Child, maybe?

"Harper Flute believes that her younger brother Tin, with his uncanny ability to dig, was born to burrow. While their family struggles to survive in a bleak landscape during the Great Depression, the silent and elusive little Tin - "born on a Thursday and so fated to his wanderings" - begins to escape underground, tunneling beneath their tiny shanty."
185 Is this a book for teens (YA) or adults?

185 Or perhaps the Cold Awakening trilogy by Robin Wasserman. The first one is Frozen

(Note: this series was originally published as the Skinned trilogy : Skinned, Crashed, Wired -- but came out in paperback with a new series name and with the volumes retitled: Frozen, Shattered, and Torn)
185 Here's the link: City of the Beasts

So glad you found your book, Jazmyne! I'll mark this solved.
185 You're welcome! Happy to help. I'll move this thread to Solved.
