It was published at the end of 2017, but it does have the son of satan trapped by daughter of questionable powerful background who is destined to be the cause of the apocalypse.

I remember something about this study, but I don't think I read the book. I'd be interested in this, and I'll do some looking.

This strikes me as familiar. I must think about it.

It could be On a Pale Horse -- it's a remote chance.
I do recall death getting fed up with the job and refuses to reap anyone, and the seen about death row seems to be there.

Emma, was the book new when you read it, or was it published somewhat earlier?

Was the book new when you read it, or do you get the sense it was older? If so, approximately when was it published?

Also, was this book written for teens, young adults, adults, etc.?

With a name like Legion, I immediately think of the devil. Is there any paranormal or theme of good/evil in the book?
