That would be really interesting, I agree with you.
We all are oppressed by the social norms we currently use and I must say it would be really interesting to read such a book from a male perspective.

Wow, that's a lot of words to choose from:)
I'm happy when one knows how to label oneself.

Exactly. It happened yesterday that somebody told me they felt uncomfortable because I was talking so much about feminism, not realising that (one could argue they are a transgender, well, at least not cisgender) they would benefit much from feminism.

Can you please tell me the precise purpose/message of the march, and what is the goal?
Thank you."
There are also solidarity marches elsewhere. Look here:
https://www.facebook.com/events/21693...
Apart from the US, there also around ten in Canade, one in Vienna, Berlin and London, in Sydney and Puerto Rico.
Maybe you can join there:)

You can ask in the Pay-It-Forward thread if somebody can send it to you, Books Underground was a one-time-event, I suppose.

I would love to see the Articles when they choose to take it up!"
Be sure to check in here:) I'll post them when they do.
Der Standard actually wrote about it already (but then it was just in Washington, not all around the world):

I think we should aim at a 50/50 representation, (in any sex, gender, whatsoever), but that skills and knowledge should always be considered first! Otherwise we have inequality again.

Wow very cool!"
Well, I thought this is a problem I can finally fix, easily. And as I told you already, the more news coverage, the better. I'll also write letters to the editor (Leserbriefe) to get a lot of people knowing about it!

The same applies to Austria: There are many other words that are used instead of vagina, which I think is nonsense. There's nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to your body parts.

People getting older and older definitely fuels such comments, which is really sad, because they miss the knowledge that only "old people" have.
But I think ageism per se is deeply ingrained in society.
In Austria, we have a saying, that I really hate: "You belong to old iron." Meaning you're of no real worth anymore.

I contacted all major news papers in Austria (and Germany) and wrote to them about the Women's March on Washington.
I even called one news paper and the person I was talking to was actually interested.
I hope there will be lots of media coverage.

Judy, you're right. Sometimes you have to wear certain clothes, but not in general.

Thanks:)
Right now I'm e-mailing all major newspapers in Austria for Women's March, for coverage is really important. (And since there is also one in Vienna, chances are good they write about it)

No, you didn't offend me:)
I was just confused because it sounded like an answer to what I wrote!

I write to every major news paper of Austria to inform them about it. Hopefully it helps!
There are also many in Canady, one in Switzerland...
Facebook is a great source for everything related to that!

(Someone had to say it please excuse my fanboy moment it is Christmas after all)
It will be there until we have gender equality."
And even longer to always remind future generations that gender equality isn't a given, but that generations of women (and men) have dedicated their life to it.

They even have a Twitter account:
https://twitter.com/womensmarchlon?la...
And a facebool event:
https://www.facebook.com/events/16052...
As well as Austria (Vienna), Germany (Berlin), I guess more or less the world over!
We need to get the news to the people so that they can join as well.
There's also a list of all the links to the States' pages.
