I finally finished A Storm of Swords! I'm going to wait a couple days before starting this one (maybe). lol I've gotten almost half way through before putting it down so I'm excited to finally finishing it!

Agh!!! I finally finished! I love this book. It is my favorite of three I've read so far, but this time around it took longer to get through than I hoped. I can't wait to start the fourth since I've never finished it. I started it last year, but put it down and never picked it up again.
Onto the questions!


Did any of your opinions on the characters change or change again after this book?
Definitely! My opinion definitely changed about Jaime. It was great learning more about him and we definitely start to see a more human side of him instead of what he projects.

Do you think that Jon was/is/could be a turncloak and join the wildlings for real?
I don't think so. He seems to regret breaking what vows he did and I really don't think he would go further (especially now that he's Lord Commander).

Who is this Petyr that Merrett seems to be looking for?
Hot damn, Catelyn is alive! (kinda) but definitely worse for wear...

Ugh Littlefinger is kind of creepy.
Is it really a shaking disease or just temper tantrums?
Littlefinger seriously has his finger in every (almost) important death!

He left Ghost when he was with the wildlings about to climb the Wall. He couldn't exactly carry him over it.

I wonder why he hadn't felt Ghost's presence. Maybe the magic of the Wall?

Stannis is seriously the only one smart enough to want to completely guar the wall. None of the other people trying to become king/queen and that will probably be their downfall.

I love how Jon seems concerned about how raising Sam's son as a bastard could turn out.
