So... I'm probably going to take the rest of the year to finish this installment. With no sign of the next book be released, I don't really feel the need to rush through. Also, I'll be starting the read-a-long for The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, continuing participation in the Harry Potter read-a-long, AND I plan to start the Shannara series. That equates to a lot of fantasy and don't want to burn myself out in that genre. I'll still read here and there, basically between the other fantasy novels I'm planning on reading and my new goal is to finish by the end of December!

Thisbchapter reminds me of Pirates of the Caribbean for some reason.
I did not see that reveal coming! Is it true?

This chapter is making me hungry with all this talk of food.
I wonder why Rattleshirt ended up with a ruby on his manacle (which is like a handcuff right?).

I wonder if the Doom was a natural disaster? Talking of how there wasn't a Smoking Sea or Valyria wasn't an island yet when looking at that map...
So the people on the ships are going to war with her?

This chapter felt really unnecessary. I understand Davos wanting to know what was happening there, but for us as readers it wasn't really vital to have a whole chapter dedicated to this... lol

I kind of like Grifff...he's snarky.

I'm really excited to see Bran's journey from here. I feel like the crow (used to be part of the Night's Watch!) will be a really interesting character. He has roots growing through him!

I'm not going to lie but I feel really bad for Theon...

Why did she randomly stop the conversation with Selmy to go down to see her dragons?

Alex- definitely a possibility! There is definitely something different about Mormont's raven.

This is hard to follow so far. I think having to go back to events at the end of A Storm of Swords and the beginning of A Feast for Crows is messing up my brain. lol

Totally don't know what's happening and and really curious to learn more of these newcomers!

It's kind of interesting going back to where Sam's journey started in A Feast for Crows but seeing it from another perspective.

Yeah not so much a fan of Illyrio but I feel like he'll play a somewhat important role later on. He has his hands in everything!
