LESS THAN A WEEK!!!

This book has gotten so good. I am loving it. This is how I have seen it so far:
-first 1/4: very interesting and informative (world building, character intros, blah, blah, blah)
-second 1/4: well paced and pretty good
-third 1/4 till now: sooo much is happening!! I can't get enough of it.

I really like that he is not sitting around feeling sorry for himself. He wants to be out and about in the basket and doesn't care what others think. Way to go Bran!
This quote comes to mind:
“The only difference between a rut and a grave is a few feet.”
― Steve Chandler, Reinventing Yourself: How To Become The Person You've Always Wanted To Be

Oh good question. He is someone from the story's son is he not? I just can't remember.
We don't really know a lot about him do we. Well Other than the fact that he is massive and a little slow. Oh and the fact that he has a big, long #$$%^&* that swings around. Sorry that was not necessary to post. I will delete if you want. Just say the word.

I ..."
Well yes, they are both equally slimy in my opinion. Especially Littlefinger.
And what the heck is a eunych or whatever Varys is. I tried to read about it. He's casterated or something????
What a messed up world they all live in---and I love it! lol

Oh yes to have been a fly on that wall.

I now have a little crush on Samwell. He won me over when he said to Jon "You're my brother now, so he's my father too." and offered to go to the weirwoods too.
Aw, how adorable!

"It was not until later that night, as she was drifting off to sleep, that Sansa realized that she had forgotten to ask about her sister."
Of course she forgot to ask. Sansa is all about Sansa and nobody else! This sentence made me angry.

I feel like I'm a bit late joining this but I'll introduce myself anyway.
My name is Hazel, nice to meet you. :)
I've read and re-read this book series countless times and I could not ..."
Welcome Hazel. Plenty of people to talk about the books here. Have fun!

Anyway by reading your post (My own stupidity!) I spoiled myself and found out Ned is still alive (yes!) but being held as a traitor (no!).
Sometimes I really suck at life. lol

Yeah it caught me off guard too (well on the tv show anyways).
I have been told not to get too attached to anyone.

I agree!

Having just read this, I can't agree with you more!"
Thanks.
It is kind of fun to go back to these threads once you have gotten further along in the book. I read a lot this weekend and forgot I had posted this.
"Like" to your post!

This book just gets better every time you flip the page!!

RIP Ned.

Oh well that makes sense. Thanks.

I have no freakin' clue Ria! But now I need to know too. lol

And you are brilliant with your comment: "Also, when Ned changed the word "son" with "heir" in Robert's will and later promised to take care of his "children" (the king meaning Joffrey, Tommen and Myrcella and Eddard thinking of his bastards), I grinned and thought "Ned, you slick bastard!"
That one flew right over my head. Ned worded that very well I now see. Thanks for opening my closed eyes.

I think he did the right thing personally. Why ruin a dying man's last moments? I mean everyone will likely suffer because of it in the end. Joffrey is an awful person but Ned and Robert used to be close. I understand his decision.

I have not noticed this and tried to skim to find it with no luck. Where should I be looking?
