177170 I thought you might. Lol
177170 Yeah what a jealous woman! She has carried that for way too long.
177170 Pretty sure you are right. That makes complete sense.

177170 For Roseanne:

177170 Oh ok. Thanks Alex!☺
177170 I can't remember....Why are Val and Gilly's baby swapped?
177170 Not a fan of this storyline.
177170 Well in the last chapter when Theon first recognized the fake Arya as Jayne Poole, I thought it was her being a devious girl.

Nope, not so much. It seems like Roose is behind all this Fake Arya business. And poor Jayne is just a scared young girl.

I like the way Theon is slowly coming around.

To you think like house Stark grey?

177170 Yeah I am always aware of how much is left in my chapters. Even with paper.

There is likely a setting to turn that off should you want to. With my Kobo I can set my progress to either the entire book or the chapter I am on.

Ok, perfect. Thanks!

177170 I read somewhere (maybe even a post by someone from this group...sorry if this is bringing up a recycled topic) that a Goodreads member found a big difference in their speed of reading ebooks compared to paper books.

I picked up my ereader due to lighting issues partway through ADWD. I really think I read a lot faster with my ereader. With the clumsy and thick paperback I had to constantly readjust so the book would stay open. But with the Kobo you just tap the thing and poof you are on the next page keeping right on reading.

Sometimes you want to hold a paperbook but I realized ebooks are better for me as far as comfort.

Have you noticed speed differences between the 2?
177170 Yeah he is so conflicted.

What do you think they mean when they say a "grey" girl on a horse?
Grey, huh?
177170 A lot of clarity in this chapter. I really did not understand why some trees had faces on them. Now I get it. Brilliant GRRM!
177170 I just came across one of my all time favorite quotes of any book. I always liked GRRM's quote "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. A man who never reads lives only one."

I always assumed that was something Tyrion would have said. Nope, Jojen Reed said it to Bran.

Man I loves those Reeds. The most underrated house in all of Westeros.
177170 I don't know who the grey haired woman and slaughtered guy is but I do think the boy and girl with swords were young Ned and Lianna.

My favorite chapter of the book so far. Roseanne I love the Bran chapters too.

Has she done anything there yet? Is she alone?

I am just drawing a blank here and don't want to outright ask certain things due to spoiling for non show watchers.
177170 This book is ok. It is not amazing though. Just reading 2 chapters a day.
