50x66 Interesting you chose Little Women Tara. I'm actually trying (and failing) to finish that book as part of my 2015 Reading Challenge. I'm struggling through it. I love the works by E.B. White and I also think of Roald Dahl for childhood classics. I will try reading The Little Prince for this prompt.

Never heard of either of the books you mentioned Jill, going to look them up.

50x66 I have never read anything by Isaac Asimov. Considering I live with someone with owns the entire collection of his books I think I'm going to give him a try and choose one of his short stories before I tackle one of his more well known science fiction novels. This isn't a prompt I chose originally but I think I might have to change my prompt list to include it.
50x66 Hi Jill,

I read that book and I really enjoyed it. Great pick in my humble opinion :)
I plan to read his new one in the coming year "Dead Awake" so I might choose this prompt after all.

50x66 I went through the list last night and decided to go with "Freedom" by Jonathan Frazen. I was surprised by how many books on that list I already read so I had to go back in time a little to find one that appealed to me.

50x66 I'm curious about that book by Kunal Charline. I hope you post what you thought and whether you recommend it or not.

I downloaded a few books on my Kobo last night and one of them was "One More Thing. Stories and other Stories" by B.J. Novak. I loved the Office and he was one of the main writers and stars of that show. Also a friend recommended this book to me and said it was quite funny.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone better too and seeing what books people choose.

50x66 Hi Jill,

I felt the same way about the 2015 challenge, I was reading a trilogy that I hated but felt like I couldn't give it up because I needed to finish all the prompts. I ended up taking almost two months to read all three books because I started to avoid them. That is just silly and I hope to avoid that in 2016. So I guess one of my rules for myself would be "it's ok not to finish a book you aren't enjoying".

50x66 I'm also going to do twenty with having no overlaps and I'm going to try to finish each one of my twenty books within a week of starting it.

1. a NYT bestseller
2. a book that's becoming a movie this year
3. a book written by a celebrity
4. a political memoir
5. a book from Oprah's Book Club
6. a book published this year
7. a book of poetry
8. an autobiography
9. a book about a culture you're unfamiliar with
10. a book you meant to read in 2015 and didn't
11. a Goodreads Choice Awards 2015 winner or nominee
12. a book about an author you feel you have read by now but haven't.
13. a book from the Rory Gilmore Challenge
14. a childhood classic
15. a book with one the 5 w's
16. a book from your goodreads recommendations

50x66 I'm Mandy and I'm from Calgary. I met Tara when I joined the book club she was moderating when she lived here. I also did the 2015 Reading Challenge but won't be able to finish. I felt like I was reading too many books that didn't capture my attention and my interest in reading kinda plummeted. I am moving to Sydney for six months in a couple of weeks (my fiance got transferred for work) and think I will have a fair bit of time to get into reading again and love the idea of challenging myself.
