I read Roald Dahl's The BFG, then watched the movie. Against all odds, I enjoyed the film more, though when it's directed by Steven Spielberg, is it really that surprising?

You're not as alone as I think. So many people joined simply because they wanted to read more.

Loved it. Great protagonist, great rival, great love interest, great magic, great music, but most of all, great storytelling. Most quotable book I've ever read.
