Sure, it is a small book, I can start whenever. Let me know, I can set up the thread to discuss.

Anyone else who has read/wants to read Wide Sargasso Sea, can also chime in.

Yes, Nidhi, does it? I'm guessing no, since you want it to be a proper challenge.

It is definitely amazing. I have also been a bit guilty of gushing about it.

168927 Looking for a buddy read? Have that book you want to start, but also want someone who will discuss with you as it progresses?

- Start off by posting in this thread which book you'd like to read, and when you would like to start.

- You should mention your availability to start reading, how fast you usually read, if you are looking for more buddy readers, and any other information you may deem important.

- Make sure you include a link to the book by using the add book/author link

I would recommend using this thread to gauge interest, and once you have a start date and someone to read with you, you can make a new topic and start discussing.

You can then use the topic you created in Buddy Reads folder to discuss the book with your buddy/buddies as you read.

This is an opportunity for people to read books in tandem and get to know people from across BYOB chapters and discuss to their hearts' content.

Happy reading!

Millenium is pretty good and it gets quite complex as the series goes on. The new one also came out recently: The Girl in the Spider's Web, as Utkarsh mentioned.

168927 Like Tanya, I read some very very good stuff, but if I were to pick one it would have to be:
If on a Winter's Night a Traveller by Italo Calvino

Thats an interesting storytelling format @shivam. Will check it out.

Not quite sure about graphic novels, but you can try Oryx and Crake also. It is the first book of a trilogy (MaddAddam).

I would also include The Handmaid's Tale even though it isn't strictly post apocalyptic, leaning towards a more dystopian feel, I feel that it encompasses some of the elements that you are looking for. Both are by Margaret Atwood and she writes beautifully.

It's on my list. A Mitchell mood is yet to strike me though.

I'm reading The Luminaries.

Shivam: You definitely get used to the language. It is quite readable after the first few chapters.
168927 I liked The Road. It is very sparse in true McCarthy fashion.
