I've be wanting to read Le Guin for a while and now I have the motivation to do so. I'll get to it as soon as my copy's available at the library.

I'm a third of the way through
Shift Omnibus Edition (Silo, #2) and I'm loving it so far. Just as good as
Wool Omnibus if not better.

Finished it yesterday, pretty impressed. Second book I've read where the focus is on language (
Embassytown). I thought that at times the book dragged a bit. Will check out some more of Delaney's work.

For fantasy I'll nominate
Steelheart by
Brandon Sanderson. Not the easiest book to categorize but it's leading shelf is fantasy so that's what I'll go with.
And for sci-fi I'll nominate
Gridlinked by
Neal Asher.

I'm a chapter in and I'm hooked. Really great so far.

I picked it up from the library yesterday and will begin reading it soon.

For fantasy I'll again nominate
Sasha by
Joel Shepherd.
And for sci-fi I'll nominate
City of Pearl by
Karen Traviss

It's definitely on my to-read shelf, don't know if I will get to it this month.

Currently reading
Steelheart by
Brandon Sanderson. Other books I plan to get to this month are
A Time to Kill,
Sycamore Row,
Entangled,
Blackout, and
Champion.

For sf I'd like to nominate
The Curiosity by
Stephen P. Kiernan.
And for fantasy I'll nominate
Sasha by
Joel Shepherd

I'm currently reading
Ender's Game and plan to get to
Whole Wide World,
White Devils, and
Shards of Honour. I'm really excited for Shards of Honour. It will be my first read into the Vorkosigan series.

For fantasy I'd like to nominate
The Family Trade by
Charles Stross. It's really a science fantasy, but Tor markets it as a fantasy so that's what I'll go with.
For sci-fi I'll nominate
In War Times by
Kathleen Ann Goonan. This is an alternate history/universe book that is very good but sorely under appreciated.

I'm about to start
Singularity's Ring by
Paul Melko. Other books I plan to get to this month:
White Devils,
The Lord of Opium,
The Mayan Secrets, and
The Curiosity. I'm really looking forward to The Lord of Opium, the sequel to
The House of the Scorpion.

Just picked this up from the library. Hope to start it soon.

Only book I've read by Mieville is
Embassytown. I thought it was really good and very original. I'm definitely going to read some more of his works.

Currently reading
Vortex by
S.J. Kincaid. A few chapters in and I'm really enjoying it.
Some other books I plan on reading this month:
Leviathan WakesStarglassIn War TimesAlso I just finished
The Family Trade by
Charles Stross and I thought that it was really good. Looking forward to finishing the series.

Really want to read this book. Hopefully, I'll get to it this month.
