16548 I'm a third of the way through Shift Omnibus Edition (Silo, #2) and I'm loving it so far. Just as good as Wool Omnibus if not better.

16548 Finished it yesterday, pretty impressed. Second book I've read where the focus is on language (Embassytown). I thought that at times the book dragged a bit. Will check out some more of Delaney's work.

16548 For fantasy I'll nominate Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson. Not the easiest book to categorize but it's leading shelf is fantasy so that's what I'll go with.

And for sci-fi I'll nominate Gridlinked by Neal Asher.
16548 I'm a chapter in and I'm hooked. Really great so far.

16548 I'm currently reading Ender's Game and plan to get to Whole Wide World, White Devils, and Shards of Honour. I'm really excited for Shards of Honour. It will be my first read into the Vorkosigan series.

16548 Just picked up Ender's Game and Dust

16548 For fantasy I'd like to nominate The Family Trade by Charles Stross. It's really a science fantasy, but Tor markets it as a fantasy so that's what I'll go with.

For sci-fi I'll nominate In War Times by Kathleen Ann Goonan. This is an alternate history/universe book that is very good but sorely under appreciated.

16548 I'm about to start Singularity's Ring by Paul Melko. Other books I plan to get to this month: White Devils, The Lord of Opium, The Mayan Secrets, and The Curiosity. I'm really looking forward to The Lord of Opium, the sequel to The House of the Scorpion.
16548 Just picked this up from the library. Hope to start it soon.
